I wonder if Djudjuchet is related to Robert Carlos lol.
The concert in Strasbourg was Defao's very first concert without the team that backed him during the tours of USA, Canada, UK and Switserland. Defao decided to fire them after performing in Laussane and went to Uganda on his own through London. After doing a serie of concerts in Uganda with the likes of Mbetenge Domingo, Joslin Nsiala, etc.who were staying in Nairobi, he returned back to Europe and signed with JPS Production. Montana Kamenga who was staying like the remaining musicians of Big Stars in London, went to Paris in the hope to rejoin Defao and reassured people that he would present in Strasbourg and wanted to reconcile again, but Defao refused.
I haven't finished watching the video yet. But it's awful to see it. It an evidence that Congolese bandmembers also contribute to the success of the bandleader. It's seems that the public is satisfied. It was cute to see Defao dancing with the children (51:45 min)
Is the atalaku not the one of who animated on Wazekwa's second album Pauvre Mais and JF Ifonge's album Demolition ? Looks like he was not really into Defao's music, because when performing the first song he didn't even know all cri's, which made Defao do animation.
I wonder why Defao couldn't get better guitarists, for example Caien Madoka or Tabou Fataki and another atalaku. During the intro, you can see that Defao wasn't feeling it and decide to cut it. Sala Noki also didn't go well. The sound of Nzenze's keyboard was to high, I wonder if it was done to cover mistakes of the guitarists
