kusangila makes a looooot of valid points,makaba knew how the get the best out of all of them,and even i remember in pentagone sessions in belgium werra and tata were often pissed because he made them re start their parts countless times until he estimated it was good enough,he is also the one who  took jb to another level,the true jb mpiana voice is what he used in the beginning of zadio whereas in all his wenge musica career he was using those debaba or wemba type of voice
and he is also right about the formateur thing,but he better be careful, he might get slaughtered for criticizing the guy who calls himself formateur

Yes,he's totally right and I like the way he's emphasized his point on the ''formateur'' issue, he's almnost pissed off and alsmost saying who is Werra to train someone, he just ends it by asking the chap conducting the interview if Werra trained Kapaya.

I think there is a strategy to come and give their counts of the day of Wenge Musica and leading up to break up. I know a interview ago, Patient also gave some reasons why JB Mpiana was not at the Ivory Coast show in 1997. He implied the reason was the rift between JB Mpiana and Werrason.

Based on an interview I read about 10 years ago on digitalcongo, Wenge Musica had 3 main leaders ie JB, Makaba and Werrason. JB and Makaba were the signatories of the band, these two signed contracts etc with JB being the overall but with not much authority over others as they sort of made collective decisions as leader whilst Makaba was also the Artistic Director.  Werrason was Financial Director and Chief operating Officer who was also responsible for recruitment and organisation. The founding father Didier Masela was more like a non Executive Chairman with no direct responsibilities.

Feux de l'amour was the final straw due to already strained relationships amongst the leaders mainly due to egos,jealousy and also lack of funds as Werrason is alleged to have been misappropriating funds and failing to pay staff hence the reason why almost the entire band went with JB Mpiana who through his connections and success from that album was helping out staff with allowances from his own resources.
The relationship between Werra and the others went sour otherwise JB and Makaba and others were all getting along well, JB and Makaba's relationship only turned sour when they were now as Wenge BCBG with JB Mpiana and founder and supreme leader that's why Makaba simply left followed by Blaise Bula who as we heard was not happy because of lack of support from JB and colleagues when he was unwell, he felt isolated so JB remained with his band as solo leader.
