Very disgraceful for the committee to award Vieux Menopause this award, like what has he done recently to earn this award. They should of gave it to Fally or Ferre because they actually released an album with some good songs.

Who votes? If its in congo ferre would have won but sometimes or if it was fally who has a good following in other countries even non franchophone. Congrats ti Werra. With the more than 15 ingeta songs l have listened to we expect more awards. Was impressed, l rate ingeta second to kibwisa so far. Hope they don't change much.

the system is not very clear  i did not even know that werra or ferre were nominated  as they did not talk about it, all of a sudden BOOM 
but their conditions are not very clear, that award  in general is destined to artists from burkina then they extended to west africa and later with kora's problems they added  some kind of central african section which i feel is based more on history than present
if koffi was nominated there was high chance he would be the winner

In Kenya , Coastal Kenya, Nairobi, western Kenya  and Nyanza are the biggest fans  of Werrason.  Fally  and Ferre came with storm for a while the youthful generation generation loved their music... the middle age did fall for Ferre a lot to date, But JB,Koffi and Werrason plus Felix  Wazekwa are selling  well, Karmapa is stealing their  space slowly... So  Many people in Kenya Love Werrason and JB plus Koffi, anything that comes out even if it is  below standard it sells.

But people need to move from the hype you guys have embraced of too much love for certain special mucisian and giving them  so much publicity that is  not legendary.  I have a huge library  of Congolais  Musicians , I buy all music  from all  the talents available. I must say some guys are  missing so much great stuff. We need to wake up from the  alignment  to certain musicians. Congo is blessed.

In Kenya for example, if you go into a Kenyan  house, you would be confused  for either being in a congoman's house because  guys  have   a variety  of collection of music from congo dating back to 1960s to date.  We love congo music.
