It's a bit daft and pointless just meeting to play Koffi's music and dance since Babia only had one known song and a generique to his credit, at least they should have been charging even 2 Euros per head to send to Babia's family. Sam should have shown his leadership skills, it doesn't matter what people think as long as they send that money and show on camera someone delivering the money realised from the shows however, africans will always be africans, i too found myself in some situation, a good family friend of ours here in the UK lost a child and was really in pieces, i was co ordinating arrangements for the funeral here and i mentioned to all Zambians i know in the UK and most especially in my town to show support and also donate whatever they can be it foodstuffs or money as people were coming in numbers to the couple's house so it was probably proving expensive for the mourning family to feed those people so i thought of an idea that we all donate even £5 each directly to the couple or we appoint someone to hold the money and be in charge for expenditure for the home during the duration of the funeral,my gosh, word went around that i wanted people to give me money,maybe i was broke and all that, they even twisted the story and told our family friend who was mourning the loss of his child so the guy asked me why i was asking for donations and i explained my point and he told his wife, they understood and appreciated my efforts but said because people had twisted the whole story they would actually not want donations but the couple still appointed me to lead the funeral procession because they realised i was genuinely feeling their pain.
