they did a national mourning for two or three days,at the beginning koffi did not really react which lead to people's anger and as result he has been blacklisted there, then he reacted few days after with help of david monsoh on ivorian tv to apologize and present condolences but unfortunately for him it did not calm fans down
by the way jb  should have played there few times was kicked out with stones  they feared congolese musicians a bit i think,even awilo longomba only played there the year after

Koffi said nothing after that incident. one week later he was invited by Claudy Siar for his radioshow Couleurs Tropicales on RFI to talk about that incident in Coutounou. But  Koffi was surprisingly praising himself about the crowd who was their in that football-stadium and didn 't give any condoleance to peoples or families who were affected and finally after being insulted and attacked by many people and disappointed fans, he gave one or two weeks later his official 'excuses' and condeleance about that incident.
