How did Aimelia leave and what happened?

yeah i've been wondering the same thing why did Aimelia leave?

it was reported to jb that aimelia was secretly dealing to join maison mere so as he believed those who reported it and also aimelia "got a big too big headed" he started to do little things to unsettle him such as going to record TH in studio without telling him and stuff like that,and as he foresaw bigger humiliation coming with jb having already brought in chai as his replacement he did not return to kinshasa with the group then he did his solo album and few times later when this time it was even more clear that he was about to join maison mere,jb did his utmost best to get him back but it was too late

The real reason what caused the problem between J.B. M'piana and Aimelia was that car-accident with Miette Shegue and Patricia Bingetox(who became paralyzed after that accident) in Montreal '99 after a concert. That incident made JB very angry and that's why they decided to issolate him from the T.H.-recordings. Aimelia himself said that during an interview 2 or 3 years ago.

 oh yeah indeed man,i forgot about that part,aimelia had actually refused to go in another car if i recall well because he was with patricia then(tutu with monica,genta with one of the other dancers and kibens with maguy)

JB seriously couldn't blame that on Aimelia i mean it was an accident for christ sake

 the accident was like the last straw,the real problem behind that was it was a period where to be either in maison mere or bcbg you have to be 1000000 per cent behind the boss and aimelia being a guy who speaks his mind did not work out,imagine that sometimes on flights or bus trips some of the musicians(the main ones) were already telling him  they'd get him out of the group(they were playing "the game" as to show the boss they care about the group and are ready to kick out whoever does not speak the exact same language)

any money those musicians were kibens and co, I also remember him saying in a interview when he toured Canada he wasn't feeling comfortable in Wenge BCBG after the departure of  Makaba,Blaise Bula and Patient Kusangila he said Mr Simon was trying to make JB get rid of "Dinosaurs" people who could stand up to JB

That's not true.... And if that was true than would Aimelia, Blaise and Makaba leave BCBG in '98 during their concert in Canada.

exactly alain mpela was already chef when makaba and blaise were around,blaise started as chef  but then remained "administrator" while alain mpela took over as chef
