i think the difference between f victeam's sebene songs and most of the recent ones is the return guitar throughout and progression from rumba to semi sebene to sebene the songs of alvarito and cambodge illustrate this very well, whereas in many of the sebene songs  of the last 5 years the singing parts are many with studio effects then guitar arrives at beginning of sebene

Exactly, the songs progress well, you can hear the song develop well from a slow and you know when sebene is about to start that way you ''tighten your belt on the dancefloor''  ;D ;D not the songs we've been subjected to where it's a slow song then suddenly you just hear some soloist do a solo signature on the guitar and the song is in sebene and the atalukus start screaming ''eyé eyé, toké toké. ;D

Sly, Bill had sebene songs in the Fukushima album, Celeo also had sebene songs in his first album, Didier Lacoste and Ferre also had sebene songs. Jb and Werra always have sebene songs. So it's not like sebene songs haven't been produced, and Wazekwa had a sebene song in I Love You. P.S the sebene songs in Ingeta are way better then the ones in LP.

For the last 5/6 years there has been 1 sebene song in an album poor, what Fally and his group did was very well so please give them the credit the deserve in that departmant

Fally talks like a leader and clearly you can see class above others. This time round guys will be chasing shadows!! A leader is one who is always ahead of competition. If things keep on going like this then I can see some people will not release soon, they will be rushing back to the studio to correct things because every time they are about to hand over theirs, a marking scheme is produced!!!

Bill,Celeo,Lacoste have all had at least two sebene songs in past albums. JB and Werra have at least 2 expect for Malewa  Vol.2 where Werra had only one.

It's there at the start of the first generique and other songs but not too long and not boring.

That's just your opinion based on your taste ie the kind of music you like. It doesn't make sense comparing the two musicians based on their music which is totally different however, if you mean Ferre cannot match Fally where strategy is concerned then you're totally right as Fally is what is called a market leader(trendsetter) and Ferre is a follower, both strategies work but the market leader will seem to be carrying the day simply because they do things without waiting whilst the followers respond to what's new, not to say that the market leader will always produce better quality products than competitors or followers.

It is a known fact that Ferre Gola's album Que est derriere toi was more successful than Fally's Arsenal de belles melodies which was quite monotonous. Fally rectified his mistakes and came up with Power Kosa Leka, it was a successful album but then Ferre responded with Boite Noire which was equally successful. Ferre came up with Dérangement which we were promised would be explosive but no, it was average and now Fally and his band has come with Libré Parcours and as far as i can tell, it is the best album released by any band in Congo for the last 5 years or so in that it is better arranged with a variety of styles of songs and the musicians blended in very well with different singing styles, melodies and to crown it all, they've brought back sebene and semi-sebene(shumba songs which pick up speed and have solo guitar at the end as we got accustomed to either rhumbas or generiques.

Let's give credit where its due to deserving musicians when they do better, yes, the two musicians are doing very well but on this occassion Fally has set the standards very high but that is easily achievable by any serious musician as congolese music is the same, there is nothing spectacular that Fally's band has done apart from changing strategy and hats off to them because it's paid off.

For me when it comes to Ferre vs Fally, Ferre is clearly the better singer and more talented in my opinion I think Fally is good singer he is no where to be matched with Ferre when it comes to singing or any of that but overall Fally gets the upper hand like his old boss Koffi (same with Papa Wemba and Koffi, Papa Wemba is more talented when it comes to singing and etc. but still Koffi is more popular (in my opinion better), Same with Fally his got a strong strategy like SLY said, Leadership and popularity which Ferre does not have.
