I doubt Kabila would've killed all musicians if (united) they declined not to participate.

Trust me they had a choice and they choose money.....I didn't see Ferre or Fally sing for him and they are still alive and Bill Clinton sang for Tshisekedi he's also still alive.

lets not forget that a lot of the politicians still around were there in the mobutu days so that culture of using power to get everything they want is still there
fally and ferre "took profit" of their albums recording to stay longer in europe
i have already said in this forum,when any of the musician leaves the country, the authorities know it since they have to be delivered an authorisation(not always when the guys travel too much in a year of course),and even more if you have a conflict with authorities

I think art like religion should have no government influence and as far as combattants go its a shame that fans in the diaspora have afforded them that much power.

Archos, since Fally and Ferre stayed longer in Europe Kabila could've told them to come back at any time. It's just a miracle that they didn't song for him, we'll see what happens next year.

Why gongolese poeple's are like this i sign up on this site because of this fally and ferre thing for one year i have been follow this site to know more about gongolese music ..... back to my topic  i want to advice the guy that post this tread saying ferre is copying fally you are totally wrong go and check out america artist what they do on instargram or you can check nigeria artist on instargram they they always share the same post on they IG those that mean they are copying each other why only in gongo what ever u do it we be copy from someone is only in gongolese muscian that i know don't support or share they follow artist song when when he or she release song ......i love gongolese music more than my country song, but the gongolese people are messing it up no love no supoort only hate one another ever in this group..... anywhere am just happy that am finally here 

Fally ipupa dicap is king between ferre and him. No matter what ferre gola does, fally ipupa is way ahead and the reason is that fally is more inovative and dynamic whyle ferre has chosen to go back 50 years ago and sing odemba. So even when it comes to fashion, style, etc fally has been exposed much much more due to colabos with western figures.

I was watching barbacue show by fally and i concluded that all congolese artists are in trouble because fally is playing music superior to all.
