Different Artistic Director there that's why. That particular generique 3 on Libre Parcous is a laid back one,they probably planned it that way.

This song sounds like the Koffi/Latin Quarter of old....especially the first half and the end. Love it

i also think that overall, it was not "popular" anymore to play with those  distortion effects we can take a good hundred of generiques released in DRC in the last ten years,there is maybe 5 max with an effect which stands out from the rest of the generique played
apart from that celeo is a big fan of rock guitar,he asked zing kapaya to play it aswell on his ici c'est paris generique
