I didn't say JB Mpiana want to be famous as Fally, I said that if JB Mpiana and Wenge BCBG, especially, with the work of Tolbert and Fusèe could be as famous as Fally, because JB Mpiana is well known in Congo and in some parts of Africa but not internationally wide known as Fally, why? The point am trying to make and which is being missed is that is JB Mpiana looking for fame,is his intention to get famous like Faly,Ferre ,Koffi and Werrason on an international level or he is content. JB Mpiana and most of his musicians when interviewed and constantly asked why it takes long for BCBG to release albums, the answer has always been the same, they want to release quality music to satisfy loyal fans,it's not about fame or business for them but having music that people will stand up and dance to with their partners etc not what will become so popular and play the world over and get them some money,BCBG despite having a poor marketing strategy has good ethos and reputation that is why they remain relevant today despite the same laziness we all refer to.

Lets just say that jb has lost the steam.....the energy to drive him to the same popularity he had. There is better animation on 13eme Apotre ,even the animation ''Ah Yesu'' which Boguys Bompema first started on his solo album is better than the ekoti te animation,selfie makes no sense really,it's just a play song no wonder comedians are on it too,it's just proved popular because ''selfies'' are trending now.

Of course, the bad is that JB as you said is surrounded by bad councelours, which not give him the right advices, JB Mpiana's skills as a singer and showman are like the ones of Fally, Ferre if you think about it. Selfie is a pure commercial song it doesn't say anything but it is really funny to listen, this is why is so popular, and is modern, that is why is so famous, it is like Mascara, which was saying something but was also a funny a song with Fabregas fast style speaking and the Ya Mado dance.
Kindoki and Puissance/Ngunzama the two generique are better than Selfie and Mascara, but it doesn't have a video so people can only download it and can't know the dance if they don't go to watch the live performance on youtube, is a little thing but is costing JB the success he deserved, because honestly if Kindoki and Puissance/Tengama or Balle De Match had a video instead of the shitty petite ya quartier you would see JB making the same or maybe more views of selife and so on

The maxi single album JB Mpiana released was for his fans to have something to listen to for the new years celebrations as the full album ''Balle de Match'' is behind schedule, JB Mpiana listened to the cries of his fans and went into studio and within a few months came out with a fantastic maxi single. Had he not released, people would still have condemned him as usual. JB Mpiana is not the first Congolese musician to release an album without any video,others have done it before. JB Mpiana's business model is not ideal in a competitive market but he has a niche market of loyal fans who still wait for him to release albums and when he announces concerts, people still turn up in numbers so he is content with his style and i don't think he is bothered much about producing catchy stuff but quality stuff that people will listen to for many years to come, that is his style and we just have to appreciate it,if he was useless he would have sunk a long time ago like others who are now in oblivion like Manda Chante, Blaise Bula and even Alain Makaba. Let's give credit to JB Mpiana, he is a star in his own right and his formula has worked,yes, it would be nice if he can adjust and become modern with his marketing but nope,we are all different and he is not an exception.

Sly.....do not defend JB Mpiana like he pays you commission to do so. If you look deeply into what is being talked about JB here, its purely positive criticism which is not hate as it seems from your angle. I mean how on earth can JB leave out four videos for only four songs? This maxi single is superb. Look here, small boys like robhinio, tabu peguy, brigade sabati, kevin mola, etc are releasing videos for the shit songs.....why not JB? A man your say is up there already?
