Let's Go and judge much easier isn't it,
Engaging generique, was not a fan of the distortion but I was happy with what CNN, Apocalypse, Acide & Kerozene had to offer, but still I think the animation department missed out on a leader in this section I think it is Brigade who is missed sorely (even though his animation calls are taken in to this album), Salaam-Alaikum call fantastic, Titina too good top drummer,
Apocalypse & Koffi he has attempt of his style, rhythmic parts are done very well. 6.5/10
Commences slow as ever with audible piano/keyboard partitions playing a role of extra effects, the bass is very soft but enjoyable. Koffi sings typically as ever regardless of that fact he still sounds well. What surprised me the most is that the composition of this song is well ahead of it's time literally this song could be released today but still sounded exclusively new as most rumbas nowadays are shaped up in this fashion, the hook is accomplished, Fally's vocals are modernized as usual, Montana storytelling with his vocal, Junior sounding very fantastic and Dakumuda Newman adding a touch of his own without sounding lost but compliments well. A Fantastic song B+ for me.
A Romantic masterpiece, this song completely drilled by emotion demonstrated by Koffi's singing approach he gave me an old-school feel of himself singing and he ended the song beautifully the duo with Fally also drew memories of past masterpiece Effervescent, What I also fancied is the topic select someone as lover for life and regretting how things ain't the same and the lover feeling lonely as things ain't the same, the story gets straight to the point along with the instrument structure which made the song simplistic but the emotion plays the massive part to make the song more complex and Oh Boy! the lead partition at the end is so rich excellent (Felly Tyson), Choruses melodic and harmonized well. Simply a 10/10 no discussion. (Sissi Silivi cannot match this song no way!)
Domination comes from the keyboard as it dictates the whole song and gives a feel of Koffi typical slow song, each vocal amounts to something whether it is from (Gibson, Fally or Soleil) as they bring a touch of their own. A bit of comedy also from Koffi's speech to engage listeners to elements of entertainment. Not really a stand-out song but this song plays a role with each rumba having a style of it's own to give more variety of slow songs and by the way hats off too Brice Malonga or Phillipe Guez giving modernization with synth work.
Interesting, this tune does not have a Congolese feel sounds more like a Pop,R&B and Jazz song with Gospel sentiment, Koffi + Fally = Successful song I can't think of a song that these two made that has been rubbish and once again emotion is shown by Fally with his singing (reminds of C'est Plus For Que Moi Reddy ft Koffi). The sounds is exceptional Phillipe Guez being the catalyst programmed strings sounds professional, Saxophone or the Flute was beautiful served a great mixture with the female voices and drums programmed well. 8.8/10
Vibrant introduction, already the pace of the song is impressive (7/7 feel), Enjoyable vocals starting of with Soleil being unpredictable, Junior Kingombe almost sounded like Ferre, Geco Mpela and Chokoro combined to one he really surprised with vocal high notes hit very good, but Fally
amusing, Koffi sounds much more better when he is calm I was satisfied by his soft-tone, Bindas Bass played his instrument healthily as the bass sounded soft to the ear, Titina thunderous even in a rumba tune and ending was pleasant. 7/10
Just listen to this if you're bored or stressed you'll be happy, cheerful atmosphere (atmosphere of this song insane). From the off delightful and pleasing I don't think anyone can hate this song and funny this song has no capital meaning just song filled lots of dedications but the structure of the song is pleasing and straight to the point. Choruses very strong powerful voices merged together for the rumba part 10/10, surprising how Celeo animation is taken but Felly Tyson ruined the sebene the distortion was not called for completely unasked but Titina damn thundering even the rumba part. Sebene: 4/10
Monde Arabe laid the groundwork for future album and especially formula's, more slow songs (rumbas) instead of various styles combined to impress the mass, with partly exception of this album I believe this album had a negative impact as other artists referenced this artwork incorrectly. In depth Monde Arabe is album with catalogs of rumbas each rumba has it's own personality and manner I think Droit Chemin is one of the rare albums to reference Monde Arabe correctly, I don't have major problems with rumbas in albums but what I strongly dislike is rumbas sounding the same and currently it is completely monotonous every artist sounds the same. I show Koffi artistic respect for being experimental and inventive with each slow song and also for being completely emotion with few slow songs. Monde Arabe is like a ice-cream van in Dubai offering all types of flavors (rumbas) and with add-ons (sebenes) I understood what Koffi tried to paint and he done it well. 6.9/10 > 7.0/10 I'll be generous!
