Congolese Music / Re: 3 years on since Dynastie came out« on: March 26, 2025, 15:41 »The Dynasty series (Dynasty 1, 2, and volume 2) really came and went. It’s almost like the albums never came out, only Dynasty 1 had time to breathe but the last two nope. Lack of promotion you think? These were good albums too. 20

Congolese Music / Re: DID YOU LOT HEAR ABOUT THE DRAMA BETWEEN NIGERIAN ARTIST ASAKE AND FALLY?« on: March 25, 2025, 00:42 »
Generally how much are features going for? Honestly Congolese artists probably should start featuring with wider audiences to get our genre more exposure. I feel like it’s hurting us in promotions.

Congolese Music / Re: WHICH ALBUMS WERE RECORDED WITH A LOT OF TENSION WITHIN THE GROUP AND STUDIO« on: March 21, 2025, 04:03 »I was listening to Wake up and it made me think which albums were recorded when there were a lot of tension inside the studio and group but still the projects ended up being excellent. For me the first two albums that come to mind are Academia’s Viagra, Jb’s feux de l’amour. What was he tension between those albums? 26
Congolese Music / Re: Thoughts on this??« on: March 19, 2025, 11:22 »Koffi has really lost plot and any sense of creativity - the second hand embarrassment is getting worse by the passing day. I grew up on Loi, Attentat, Noblesse Oblige, Effrakata , force De frappe and all those classics. It’s sad seeing the genre I loved go downhill like this. It’s pure laziness from the artists. All you can do is show people the classics. Sometimes I feel like it’s like hip hop here in the US. These days lots of albums release but consists of a ton of garbage. 27
Congolese Music / Re: Oh Gosh Koffi really is releasing the Loi Remix« on: March 17, 2025, 19:23 »
Does Koffi realize what he is doing? Has he forgotten his own classics?

Congolese Music / Re: I WISH THEY DID ANOTHER FARA FARA ALBUM WITH ATALAKUS OF TODAY« on: March 12, 2025, 01:18 »
It’s crazy how Congolese musicians operate. I would think that would be an opportunity for the band to gain exposure participating in Fara Fara albums. Plus gives everyone a chance to dance and grow. These days we are struggling to get releases it’s almost like the genre is barely existing now. Yet it is the best in all of Africa
