The Dynasty series (Dynasty 1, 2, and volume 2) really came and went. It’s almost like the albums never came out, only Dynasty 1 had time to breathe but the last two nope.

Lack of promotion you think? These were good albums too.

And I've listened to Blana's album, it's really good.

Is it on streaming?

Generally how much are features going for? Honestly Congolese artists probably should start featuring with wider audiences to get our genre more exposure. I feel like it’s hurting us in promotions.

Oh man. This will be exciting.

Curiosity I’m assuming

Sending condolences.

I was listening to Wake up and it made me think which albums were recorded when there were a lot of tension inside the studio and group but still the projects ended up being excellent. For me the first two albums that come to mind are Academia’s Viagra, Jb’s feux de l’amour.

What was he tension between those albums?

Koffi has really lost plot and any sense of creativity - the second hand embarrassment is getting worse by the passing day.

It’s getting reeealllly hard to convince millennials that Koffi was the man back in the 90’s-early 2000’s. My friend said Koffi doesn’t have the motion to sell out Hippodrome and the mpiaka will have warriors affirming he is finished. I decided not to fight the point

I grew up on Loi, Attentat, Noblesse Oblige, Effrakata , force De frappe and all those classics. It’s sad seeing the genre I loved go downhill like this. It’s pure laziness from the artists. All you can do is show people the classics.

Sometimes I feel like it’s like hip hop here in the US. These days lots of albums release but consists of a ton of garbage.

Does Koffi realize what he is doing? Has he forgotten his own classics?

Is this on streaming?

Does he still have a band?

It’s crazy how Congolese musicians operate. I would think that would be an opportunity for the band to gain exposure participating in Fara Fara albums. Plus gives everyone a chance to dance and grow. These days we are struggling to get releases it’s almost like the genre is barely existing now. Yet it is the best in all of Africa
