Listening to this Mboka Liya Sebenology and at 2:40:02 is a WMMM song. I think it's Adolph's Voyage, but I could be wrong. Anyone knows? and a clean Youtube copy? Thanks
By the way these Sebenologies are on point and very informative....You can now attach certain riffs, playing style to certain soloists.
I cringe every time I see a post about congo braza music or their musicians
Why.....if there are artists that are sidelined, Extra Musica artists are.....only DRC artists are promoted even here in Zambia. I am trying to be a promotor for Extra Musica and brazza here in Zambia....
I just need contacts to Roga Roga....who can help...
I may be wrong but i think he's referring to their style of playing not the artists themselves. You could just listen and tell if a song (except rumba) is coming from Congo Brazza or Congo Kinshasa.
"Dicap tu soutient les ingrats? Ce mec quand il aura la force il va passer a la télé pour bouder et tout . Laisse le débrouiller."
Google Translation "Dicap you support the ungrateful? This guy when he will have the strength he will go to the TV to sulk and everything. Leave him alone."
I don't remember LBG going on TV to talk smack about Fally either as solo artist or as part of WMMM. Anyone knows about this?
He does great music but he really has to find good atalakus. The tenor atalku (name?) screams down the whole song while the falsetto atalaku (name?) is off key for the most part. He tries to sound like Kabuya, but not successful doing that. Arrangement and general ambiance carry Robinio's generics (my opinion) not the atalakus.
This guy was at one point in just about all the congolese songs released in the late 90s and early 2000s. he's very repetitive and not quite creative. But in Zala Cool, he used animations that were never heard before (at least not by me).
What is he up these days? Still involved in music?
They can say everything about Ferre but he is right even though he lied about the reasons he avoided Koffi, Koffi always making the snake and then get surprised if Robinio doesn't accept his money or if Ferre doesn't greet him, if you are a Kevin Durant, even though you win a title you will always be a snake
Yea he needed to move on. Even though he may not be as successful as others because of his age. But you really can never say never. A story is told of the KFC founder who made it in his mid sixties and the rest as they say is history. Courage Eboa courage... Loin de toi one of my favourites from "A la queue leu leu".
ummm......Eboa was not in A la Queue leu leu.....he joined after the fraction
Might be a little late. Eboa is either in his late thirties or early forties. His Prime time may be behind him. He should have left long time ago. Now his struggle to make a name for himself begins. Good luck to him though.
I don't think Alfred Solo gets a lot of credit for his skills. The guy will beat out a lot of the new generation soloists. Definitely better than Heritier's and Ferre's two main soloists. .On par with with the flammes and the Kibangus...Shikena..
