Where did the solist Pitshou Hahare go? from 7:17 min

Also were was the main song 11eme Commandement of Chemin de Fer about ? Was about to advice youngsters to not live behind women and people, stop begging and working or was it a song like Reddy's Bomengo ata Kala ? Its a shame that we still not haven heard any full extract on live, because its already 20 years that people are waiting for that song.

I don't know if he used to be in the PPU's. But he joined the first team of Wenge BCBG in 2000 after Burkina Faso's departure and got presented at FIKIN and Terrain Muncipale de Bandalungwa after the release of TH. The songs I posted are the only songs where he played on because after the recordings he ran away.

from 1:28 min its him

All those videos video hadn't any choregrapher, because they are just following the dancesteps of the cri's. Each cri has his own dance. All dances are mostly created by streetbands in areas like Bandal, Ngaba, Kimbanseke, Ngiri-Ngiri, Masina, etc. or sometimes even coming from village, being an old dance that used to be danced by are ancestors. Many people just think that dances like Helicopter, Tchaku Libondas were created in the late 90s. But in reality they are recylced dances of the 70s who orginated from the Kongo-tribe, where they were dancing it in the village during funerals, weddings, birth, etc. and those who emigrated to Kinshasa bringing it with them. The same for many dances who orginate from the Mongo-tribe, who were later used in the 80s and 90s.

Only the part of the female dancers in Generation Bercy and Ultimatum had an choregrapher. In Generation Bercy, it was the late dancer Monica Celeste who made those dances that Patience, Sandralina and Chouchou were dancing, creating also the dancesteps they used in the rumba's Babou and Logique. Koffi regretted her departure, because in a 5 months she spent in Quartier Latin, she contributed alot.

In Ultimatum it was dancers Nono ba Diamants who brought those dancesteps. She stole those dancesteps from her master Mbuta Muntu Radja, where she used to dance before joining Quartier Latin (her ex'boyfriend Somono also came from there). They rehearshed on those dancesteps, but she decided to go back to Kinshasa before the clip got shooted. Mbuta Radja Kula was really furious at Koffi, when the videoclips came out, because it were his dancesteps and they danced it without his authorization (not knowing that his ex'dancer Nono brought it to Quartier Latin). Radja Kula created many dances in 80s and 90s, they were danced by all bands (Wenge, Zaiko, Quartier Latin, Big Stars, etc.).

In Congolese music they rarely use choregraphers. Because every cri has already his own dance, that's a phenomenon that exist since the since 70s with Zaiko and Thu Zahina. They only use choregraphers for female dancers (having guys like Mao, Lambio Lambio, etc.) or when there are big events at Zenith, Bercy, Bercy or in Kinshasa at FIKIN, Cinemax (which don't exist anymore), Intercontinental.

Problems with Jean Pierre Saah ? Bill didn’t had any problems with the late Jean Pierre Saah. Btw Bill started claiming that it was Wolof in that video they made after Adolphe’s departure.

Its crazy that from all singers (Fally, Lola, Strelly, Soleil, Shella, Sampaio, Spino, etc.) no one joined the first team only Chai and the rest ending up in the reserves. Rio Kazadi & Kibens not joining htrough a test.

I don't think that Fifi or Kamono would dress themselves like this back in the days

How did JB Mpiana prepare his Zenith ? because it smees that he had concerts and normal rehearshals at Base Kamina in between.

Back in the golden years (1998-2002), some bands would go on maquis (I don't know how you say it in english) in Kinkole, Kasangulu, Binza or Mont-Ngafula to prepare their big show at Zenith, Bercy or Olympia, profiting sometimes also to prepare their next album on the same time. But how much time would they spent there ?

If I remember well Werrason just prepared the whole double-event for 1 or 2 months at  Zamba Playa cancelling all concerts he had to give in Kinshasa.

Did Pinacolada succeed in filling Burkina Faso's void ?

The solo's he played in Internet, before running away in Canada. JB Mpiana decided to erase his name in the credits when he came back to Europe to do the mix after a serie of concerts in Kinshasa, Congo and Africa (Zimbabwe, Tchad & Zambia).

My brother once said that he went to Cotounou back in 1999/2000 and there was a discussion between a Congolese guy against some Beninese people in a bar, after that the Congolese guy said that Awilo isn't popular in Congo and it became worser when he said that Awilo used to drum for Papa Wemba. Them all saying that he was jealous and Awilo could never be Papa Wemba's drummer and my brother trying to call them all down. One of the Beninese guys was really  frustrated saying in French with his accent "how would you dare to say that awilo was a drummer" and the Congolese friend saying to my brother "tell them the truth", but him just ignoring to avoid a fight. Just to show how he was seen as a god there.

Awilo Longomba performed there in 2000. He filled that stadium like Werrason did in 2003 and that 3 days in a row. He did something similar in Benin or Kampala the same year. They invited Koffi the same year to perform in Lagos, but he wasn't able to fill at least 50% of the stadium. 50 Cent and P-Square also performed there later, but no one of them was able to fill the whole stadium. If I remember well Awilo only returne in 2004 back in Lagos, but that was for a normal concert. Then from 2012/13 he's invited every year to jury for tv-shows, playbacks and featerings with Nigerian artists, since that he's seen as a legend there.
