its the same thing for cars they try to follow closely ferre heritier celeo and co about their cars, its not that somebody told him i witnessed myself a group of people following celeo at train station to film him in subway as to say he is too poor to buy even a simple car its a mother who shouted at them to leave him alone otherwise they were saying they will record and send to polemique pages to ridicule him they also almost filmed his house once but he noticed and went downstairs to fight them
Whooa tiil that level. These groupies don't have no sense.
I'm confuse Eric Tutsi was still in Quartier Latin in 2006 ? I thought he left in 2005 after Monde Arabe when he briefly came back and he came back in 2011. When the album he did with Guy Guy Fall and others came out ? In 2007 ?
mainly them jipson tried once with jdl in a nightclub jdl told him petit if you mess with me will break you like chicken bones and put you in my pocket,it ended up with jordan rescueing and obviously not being able to fight a vieux from bandal like jdl bouro it was more within the band that with rival groups, him and fally gave koffi headaches to sort out their "rivalry"
"I will break you like chicken bones" hahahaha I would like to know if there's more story like that. What is the reason of fally/bouro beef ? Was it because fally saw bouro like a threat in terms of singing and dancing. Is it true that Fally and Soleil didn't stand each other back then ?
I really don't like that type of dude. The ones who gonna yell, scream or slap you for no reason. No wonder members of Viva used to don't like him. I guess he is good with his hands one day someone gonna kick his ass, (maybe it happened already kiekiekiekie)
I remember archos telling a story of Manda being pissed about Werra sending him buy food and cigarettes for him back in the early days of 4x4 kiekiekiekie. I guess he had a lot of fights in El Paris too.
Reddy seems to be a very rude person. The type of dude you gotta think twice before telling him something. He makes me think of a old friend of mine kiekiekiekie
Mbuta kiss talks about the split along with other musicians, patient raises interesting point about the style of feux de l'amour so its jb himself who did not want agressive live sebene(maybe to give older musicians an impression of maturity since some considered sebene like noise)
It seems like elders (Wendo, Tabu Ley, Simaro co..) didn't like sebene back then.
Were they that many people who didn't like sebene (Wenge,El Paris,Quartier Latin,Zaiko ect....) back then ?
Like we saw people today who hate the fact that rumbas take over sebenes since nearly 15 years.
first one is the concert Wenge BCBG in Abidjan just after having finished their first Europe-tour and concert at Palais du Peuple, before the release of Titanic. The other one is Wenge 4x4's concert at Hotel Intercontinental, presenting their then new album Anges Adorables.
I would like to know more about 4x4 Europe (American) tours. If i'm not mistaken They went to Europe in 1990-91(recording Kin E Bouger), 1992(Recording Pleins Feux & Kalayi Boeing), 1994(Bataclan, recording of Les Anges Adorables vol.1 & vol.2), 1995(USA tour, recording Pentagone in Europe), and the last tour was in 96-97 (concert Aquaboulevard, recording Feux de l'Amour), Is that right ? I would like to know how long these tours last exactly because i know more about the carré magique era tours but not really about wenge musica tours.
I remember that Koffi was very dissapointed at the end of the event. Because he was except either Fally or Ferre as surprise guests, but none of the two showed up. Could feel that he wasn't waiting for Sam and co, when he was getting them from the hallway (keeping repeating that some will come late, and that other guests are coming, etc.). Sam Tshintu reminded him about that 2 years after the event, saying that they were his true soldies instead of the 2 F's he were keeping humilating him. As reaction to Koffi's interview with Naty Lokole before the Koffi chante Antoine-event (asking who of the former QL-members could do a chante Koffi and Koffi then saying Nathalie Makoma, Cindy Le Coeur and Meje 30. I think that he wanted indirectly humilate Babia who kept forcing on tv that he wanted to have a Babia chante Koffi-event.).
I also didn't like the way he humilated Beevans. He first ignored him, later on he tought he was Suzuki (I think he wanted to prepare a 12 against Suzuki) and after that Beevans finished his accapella, he didn't even took the effort to talk about his history in the band or praise him like the way he did to Depitcho, Champion, Lebou and Bouro.
Suzuki left Quartier Latin in December 2009 right ? Why he did a 12 on him he didn't even left him sing a lot in BEK along with other singers which surprised me a lot. Personnally for me Quartier Latin ended after Danger de Mort (that's my opinion)
Mfumu Vata despite Magie being a classic album is it true that people criticized Koffi a lot for abandoning his Tcha Tcho style in this album and using too electric guitar, a heavy drum sound and Bivens being too noisy ? I thought Magie was well received when it came out.
