Innoss B's brother saved this song, the visuals are super dope..... plus I find the Esp bass's part interesting
I totally agree with you, to be honest it is such a waste to make such a beautiful video for this trash song. The choreographies from the guys dancers was so on point.

One talent and handsomeness I fail to understand why he is not that far global like fally.
Probably a very incompetent staff and marketing company. Deplick doesn't do features doesn't search for Venus outside of Africa or Outside of Congo and the fact that he always answered instead of ignoring Fabregas's banters kinda dwindled his career, plus one thing against him is that his voice is really similar to Fally's one so automatically people will look to him (like Werra did) as a copycat of Fally, instead of a good singer on his own,he needs to step his game in promotion and marketing and he will be alright.

That is Laudy Demingongo. He used to be with Koffi Olomide and Quartier then went to Zaiko Langa Langa and then was in Empire Bakuba with Pepe Kalle on the final album Cocktail. He has been based in Paris for some time. He can still dance. I am proud that he can still dance.
Bro, if you are a natural dancer no matter the age you will always dance well. That's why guys like Prince, Cappuccino, Bill etc. Can always dance well no matter how many time passes

This talk of Suzuki and the Witchcraft is taking a sinister twister, to this day I've never seen any real hard evidence of this. But, this is the kind of talk that can tarnishes a person's reputation.

So what if he stole Deo Brando's girl, looking at her; a KFC streetwise 2 and extra large chips is probably all it took, no witchcraft involved.

Bruh ahahahah. The funny thing is that you say this jokes which are really truths so they become 10x funnier

6
his thing with suzuki is even deeper than most beefs,he found that suzuki was involved in witchcraft against him along with his ex wife so that he always obeys to them and always gives them all the money he has in his pocket
from then whenever asked about suzuki,he asks who is he,i dont know him,and in this interview he dodged the chez djonga question fast because it involved suzuki's name
Do you mean Suzuki and Sukuzi's wife or Suzuki and Deo Brando's wife. Anyway Suzuki is a dangerous man tbh, he is a Mobutu type ready to hurt the other for his own gains, but he must remember that like Mobutu all the people who betray their friends make a bad end

What he said is true, recently the Europe based QL musicians have been getting into some conflicts with each other with different camps forming. Deo did another interview a few months ago where he ignored Suzuki when asked about him.
There’s also the conflict of Mboshi and Somono, Acide vs Brigade and Mboshi, Pathy Bass with a few others, Jordan who disrespected Modogo in a reunion for Lebou’s funeral. The last time everyone was united was for Babia’s memorial but for Lebou they all couldn’t even come together and put aside their differences. I think it’s also because of their interviews with Ado Yuhe which really instigated a lot of drama between them.

So it's more misunderstandings than an actual conflict btw the QL guys?
Nope they just act like kids, you have guys like Suzuki who will gossip to you and badmouth Koffi behind his back then as soon as Koffi comes he’ll turn on you and snitch to Koffi that you were talking bad about him. There’s also jealousy about who does better shows and so on

Well. Their leader turned them into woman, so I am not surprised that they are behaving like women once they have left Quartier Latin

Congolese Music / CAN SOMEONE TELL ME THE ORIGIN OF THIS SONG?

I Always wonder from what popular proverbs got inspired and how this song who is fairly simple became this popular in parties and Congolese weddings outside of the BaKongo community

Congolese Music / Re: RIP JACQUES KOYO CHAIRMAN

The man who made the engondza dance which made suzuki popular around africa, the man who gave an early chance to roga before extra recorded, kibens, kakol quickly....

Man it is sad to see how Riga treated him when he had to perform with him. I liked his contribution in Congolais Tika, even though I found it hard being serious when he danced

Zoba na PD. I wonder why artists think is necessary to do certain things for success.

Good to see that hard work and determination beat any spiritual game you could ever play. I hope Deplick gets his luckand deserved success outside of Africa.

Congolese Music / Re: IS THERE A NAME FOR THIS STYLE OF SINGING?
« on: September 20, 2021, 23:50 »
I was always fond of his father Dindo Yogo, Mokili exchanger is a Congolese classic right up there with Ebale Ya Zaire.

But, Lola Muana... everytime he sings I'm reminded of a sick goat. Maybe he tries too hard to imitate the father.

Ahahahahahah. Come on bro. Poor Lola

I will give it a listen tomorrow. I hope he will deliver

kirikou was also at the concert, ferre is really changeing these days, seems like  overall among them clan wenge guys the bad side of esprit wenge is slowly moving away to reinstall the original esprit wenge which is family, protecting the clan if  there is issue with somebody of another group and so on
https://mbote.cd/lanimateur-kirikou-vers-un-retour-chez-ferre-gola/posts/70110

Ferre started this way back...remember when he allowed De Gaulle, Rhize Ya Gola and Mao to rejoin Jet7 after they had left to join Maison Mere?

I think that is more.on the spiritual side, like.it happened with Bercy tbh
