One Person I never thought I’d see go back to Kin., Lmao he’s now saying he was never a combattant. It’s funny how he admits how he can be crazy at times hahaha, now that he’s on god terms with Koffi he wants to perform at U Arena which wouldn’t be a bad thing
Looool these Academia guys are always pointing the finger at each other over the fallout with each saying they were against going back to Kin so soon and not listening to their label and recruiting.

Same thing with Blaise, Blaise left bcbg way too soon. Sure he had a fan base but it could’ve been bigger if he left in 2000 and participated in the Zenith and Olympia concerts and co lead the stage before Jb came on like Adolphe was doing with Werra. It’s like if Adolphe left after Intervention Rapide in early 1999 I don’t think he’d have had the success he had in 2001. So if Blaise left in 2000 he could’ve cemented a stronger fan base then the one he had in 1999.
But I feel like Blaise and JB had a big fallout in 1999. Did JB do a 12 on Blaise Bula in 1999?
Their fallout already started in 1998, with Jb suspending Blaise and Blaise stopped coming to rehearsals and then getting sick and hospitalized, if he only managed to keep his cool for another year like Adolphe then it might've been different

Lacoste is finished.

Come on now you can’t compare the two Adolphe played at Olympia had a successful Europe tour, Played at Fikin and other open areas in Kin. His group Tonya Tonya was on fire in 2001 from 2002, he was the 5th guy behind the big 4. Whilst Blaise disappeared from the scene in 2000 only popping out here and there. So you can’t compare the two, but if we’re talking about better albums then that’s a better comparison.
Which of two made better albums in your view CM Prince?
In my opinion Blaise Bula, all 3 of Blaise’s albums are too good proper Wenge. Whilst with Adolphe after Mouna his albums have been forgettable, with just a million Voyage remixes lol

Marie Paul
I meant from within Wenge 4x4 group. But Marie Paul did have high success at one point.
Marie Paul was in Wenge 4x4

Marie Paul
Marie Paul had a really good run in the 90s it’s just unfortunate that his run didn’t continue in the 2000s and those Wenge EL Paris concerts are so rare other wise he’d get more respect.

Madova  which is one of Big Stars classics and helped to Defao to go back on the top, after that all musicians left away in Europe (Guy Wanzambi, Djodjo Bayinge, Jagger Bokoko, Richa Cogna Cogna, etc.) when coming there in 1994/95.

Thank you. It's insane to say Montana can't sing or doesn't have a memorable song he was BIG in Big stars and also was a big fan favourite in QL.

72
Oh wow… the guys not even in tune.

Sam / montana

Montana is a faux chanter I think Suzuki would do the job perfectly
Loool don’t disrespect the legend Montana Kamenga like that, he isn’t a faux chanteur don’t do that.

Congolese Music / Re: Loi or Effrakata
« on: June 22, 2021, 16:00 »
Loi is crap, I never rated it. The album was poorly executed it had no continuity unlike his previous solo efforts, the sebene on most songs sound monotonous even the lyrically content on rumbas are somewhat shallow and vague. Loi will never compete with Effrakata as it hasn’t aged well with time.
Are you serious??? First you say Sanction is a crap now Loi is crap and hasn’t aged well?? Lord what are you gonna say next

Mamale claimed that Zenith 1998 was like they were performing at Bar-Kimpwanza in Kasa-Vubu hahaha
Yeah on his IG live interview haha, I'm sure you regret not attending that Zenith.
