"Maboko bank". Thank you @ Ya Archos.
And who is Alex Mfumusi and his being referenced to "Hymne National". Is it something to do with him having written the DRC Nationale anthem? While you are at it, why is Ya Willy Musheni referred to as "Code ya mboka?" 1084

Congolese Music / THIS IS USUALLY CONFUSING, MERCI RAMAZANI« on: November 13, 2018, 13:08 »
I always find it difficult to differentiate between solo and mi-solo guitar in a song. Ramazani explains the two in simple terms starting at 12:30. Very insightful interview.

The Dolphin is a clear favourite in this race with this kind of divided opposition.

Congolese Music / Re: La Mineur first interview after leaving Ferre« on: November 12, 2018, 08:06 »
He makes a valid point when he states that when as a band leader the people close to you say a lot of stuff about other guys, its necessary to verify them with whoever it is that is affected. But sad enough this happens in almost all groups were those close to the band leader take advantage of their position and snitch on others and the band leader doesn't verify.

Congolese Music / Re: Lamineur leaves Ferre's group.« on: November 06, 2018, 12:49 »
True @JV "Roaster Master". Sometimes its not even just the same structures but even worse structures than were someone is coming from. After being frustrated kuna, someone comes back saying "ndako na biso ekomi monene" and expects to be treated the same as before. The train has moved on. If you were a favourite to the boss, someone has most likely already taken your place.

Congolese Music / Re: Lamineur leaves Ferre's group.« on: November 05, 2018, 12:09 »The problem with young musicians these days is they lack patience and want everything fast without really working hard for it.Very true ndeko. I guess they have never heard the old adage that goes "patience pays". They want to become big stars overnight. 1093
Congolese Music / Re: Lamineur leaves Ferre's group.« on: November 05, 2018, 06:32 »I actually like him, unless he joins up with Chikito and Kunzardo he'll be back because there is no space at all in the other groups. He just got there so why would even expect a song if that was the case, he still would've gotten a vocal or two that's better then nothing.I equally liked him. He had very good vocals in QQJD album. His friends/followers on his wall were actually advising him that he is making a mistake by leaving but seems he has made up his mind. What these guys dont realise is that leaving a group means when you come back you would have to start from scratch in terms proving your loyalty to a group and just basically being treated like before. Unless you are super talented. 1095
Congolese Music / Re: HANDS DOWN THE FUNNIEST INTERVIEW OF THE SERIES WITH ADO« on: November 02, 2018, 19:51 »
Lol. I loved this interview too. Such characters are important in any group or setup... The part were Koffi and Fally were arguing over who should tell Jordan that he is not happy because Jordan knew Kester's songs. "Yo oyébi nzembo tout ya king Kester".
