Congolese Music / Re: QUESTION TO YOU GUYS ABOUT JOINING A BIG BAND...« on: August 06, 2018, 11:09 »
I am a musician myself but I still haven't made a big impact of course because of me but that is not the main issue.
When I was little I used to be the best dancer ever and I was used to listen to a looot of Koffi and Werra but my parents especially my mom told me to get over that stuff that I should dance properly and music it is not real life, I have never understood them and once my father said that music is good but in Congolese music there are people who do very bad things to get far, I was like why dad is saying so? My mom being religious forced me to stop listening to music and from 16 to 22 I have made music secretly, once my mom understood that I was serious about musk. And told.me that her preoccupations was about witchcraft and so on and I was like mom come on there aren't such things like that and who in his right mind would sacrifice his family in order to get success, finally my mom understood that I was serious and let me go. With that said since I am a musician the reality is that people like good music, it doesn't matter where are you from especially now (I have seen white Italian girls dancing to Rosalina of BM multiple times) where are you from, really it doesn't matter if you have good music and a good promotion you will get spotlight, I freestyle various battles, made a group album and released some video, and I had little success in my city, with the group album but not so much with the video, but I have understood that the group album got success because it were promoted unlike the video I made by myself and now I have took some break to understand what song I can make and what project or EP I can make to really be effective internationally and interacially worldwide, I have seen people who did witchcraft in Congolese music and it doesn't work, Robinio was normal and got a huge success as soon as he accepted kinfolk failed to reach the results he was making. So since I am a musician I will never ever collaborate with Congolese musician based Congo unless some people who have been in the game assure me I will be fine because trust me, EVERYONE, EVERY MUSICIAN can be the next Drake or MJ you just need good promotion and a good song and contacts, I understand that I am not as poor as these guys who do witchcraft since I am European and I have never had to struggle with hunger and with family relying totally economically by me. But I really don't blame them, I blame the stingy leader and the leader who even though got money forced them into the spiritual word for getting favour, I mean only Koffi is the leader who has 18 million dollars and can go anywhere, Fally is starting to loose the results he had, Ferre fails to reach Europe and Werrason is starting to become a national artist so why they are wasting their life for? Yes Kakol is not Barack Obama neither Malcolm X in terms of intelligence but at least he is honest like Bon bon said family members could kill you for personal gain and like Malik said about ADT how can you kill the guy who was giving you money, on a more global side, colonialism is alive and well, people still think that French is a language of the bourgeoisie society, no interest in African languages except for lingala and their own, books are considered senseless, and in the meantime if it is not for music people will struggle like everyone else, leaders need to change mentality instead of not paying people and force them into Kindoki 4759

I remember BonBon Kojak, he was a good singer, I remember when he have started to get throat issues, Werra was saying to the crown that BonBon wanted to sing and he cannot change since are musician who decide and whole those hypocrites staff, I remember the part that Taddet used to sing the vocal by BonBon Kojak in Temps Perdus in Werra's solo albums Temoignage, I used to sing whole the sing but skipping that Kojak part because the things he was sauntered waaaay weird at 3:33
"Nakanisaki nalibala nako koma allez oh nazo vivre, lifelo kutu bien, Nzambe azongisa mokili sima nabandela vie ya zero, po nayeba mobali oyo nakovanda nayeee" Which literally means "I thought that with marriage I would have been fine, oh I am living, better to live at hell, God put the world back on reverse so I can start my life again, so I can know the husband I will stay with" that is a waaaay weird vocal, especially for the hell and whole those talking about getting the world back and how can a man sing like a woman who got married I never got that in fact I always knew the song was strange and this story opened up again my eyes, anyway yes Kojack stayed until Mayi Ya Sika so 8 years but he didn't have a song and never got a vocal since Temoignage 4762

This is what "spiritual" stuff does to your mindlast i heard is that he was saying to people around him that for his "international" album l'afrique a l honneur,he'd block times square to record a clip there and several usual delusional stuff lol 4764
Congolese Music / Re: Find Lacoste lol« on: August 04, 2018, 23:04 »We were making irony but Lacoste really got nuts and crazy, what is wrong with him, one thing is to joke like Fally and Ferre do when they brag about international feat, but Lacoste really thinks those thingsI just saw him leaving a Toronto studio after he called on Drake to feature on his next International hitNo, he was on USA to finish the feat on Travis Scott's album Astrokid, now he is travelling to Atlanta to meet FutureReally? Cause I just saw him in California arranging finishing his feature with Kendrick and then flying to New York to appear alongside with 50 cent on POWERloool....I thought he was producing a double album with Chris Brown, what happened to that?loool....I thought he was producing a double album with Chris Brown, what happened to that? 4765

Congolese Music / Re: OT: WHO DO YOU THINK IS BETTER PLACED TO TAKE OVER FROM KABILA?« on: August 02, 2018, 16:50 »You are right when you say the real problem is not Kabila. But then again after Kabila the DRC needs someone who can negotiate fair deals from these foreign powers to ensure that atleast the public benefits from the resources that the country has. In short, the DRC needs some one who will have a bit of a heart for the country (a nationalist) not someone who plays right into the hands of the foreign powers like is the case with the Kabila and his current regime. That is why am interested to know who between the two favorites from the opposition has those kinds of attributes. I don't know much about JP BEMBA but from the little i know about Moise, i am interested to know how he compares with BEMBA in terms of trying to get a fair share of the countries resources benefiting the population. You are right DRC needs a Donald Trump type leader or Lumumba type leader Congolese first, and the other people rest, make it become a federation, Kinshasa hold by the chef, Mbandaka and other led to locals, Kananga led to Katumbi and whole that because Congo is a huge country, buying and one man cannot see what happen in the east being in the west or vice versa 4770
Congolese Music / Re: OT: WHO DO YOU THINK IS BETTER PLACED TO TAKE OVER FROM KABILA?« on: August 02, 2018, 12:34 »Like the title says who do you think has the popularity and is sober enough to take over from Kabila and be able to navigate the different interests of the DRC, between JP BEMBA or MOISE KATUMBI CHAPWE if at all elections are held in December?the problem is not Kabila, the problem is France, Belgium, multinationals and all the people who are there in Congo. Do you think that if Kabila dies do you think Congo will magically be free? |
