My man......if you cant differ with JB Mpiana, then you knew him after TH album......JB Mpiana has gone down musically. 100% going down.

I disagree fully...where di you put Engobo Gros Bebe, Etoile du Berger, Bolonoa and Mpunda????

Lots of respect for the Lofombo guitar, Calluggi's collabo and some lyrics.

Right now I will wait for the end of the year because the only real competition came from Manda Chante, Karmapa, and now Blaise Bula.
Sad to say that Congolese artist are not releasing Congolese music anymore like before.

Is it only me or Oukombossoro is very very very close to Les Marquis 7e Lecon? The guitar and the crie is the same. Did anyone else notice the similarity?

Aya monene  vs ya lelo le marquis mokonzi....plus the beat ...isnt it the same, and the Japonais guitar? (1 minute into the song)

@Archos did you hear the shoutout Tata Mobitch and JB Mpiana in "Sante Nzinga" ?  "Papa Cherie Oleki bango na kolata" and all the shoutouts to sapologues like Wemba, Kester etc.
Wow am impressed by every minute of this album!

There are no savage Mabangas like Werra does...we can actually enjoy the music.

Arthur Kadima Nzuji (Alexandrine's husband) looks like the main sponsor/producer of the album. Based in Portugal where alexandrines clip was filmed.

His linkedin profile
Arthur Kadima-Nzuji has a Master Degree in Sociology and a Bachelor degree in Economy and Social Studies and in Management (Paris, France). With a broad experience of more than 25 Years in Finance, Trading activities and Business Management, Arthur Kadima-Nzuji is currently President and CEO of Kadima & Partners SA ( Real Estate Development and Projects Financing ), Managing Director of Kolam Ltd, ( Commodities Exporter), and President and CEO of KadLand Capital, a Private Equity Company.

Also Interesting to hear Amida Shatur's name. I wonder what will be Mukulus reaction.

I love this album, it's very Wenge 4×4 nothing to do with Werra's style. Ponderation 8 to Okota was very long but  RendeKita is an amazing album mixing maturity and quality.  Breath of fresh air.  Whenever you have Makaba involved you never go wrong.
Still waiting for JBs....

Thanks @Archos! Kulongesha is teaching indeed, I didnt clue in.

Anybody here knows how much Kibens and the others are paid monthly, i.e no albums nor concerts?

84
Someone told me that Kazadi, Mulongeshi and Tshituka....its not always attistic but also tribal...I can NOT confirm that.  I rather see them stay together and happy!!!

85
Ficarre once told me that 90% of the songs in TH were composed by Kibens. So I understand the logic of keeping him around. Can anyone here please say what has been JDL's contribution to the mouvement? Was he supposed to replace Afande? I dont get it; bad voice, bad vocals.

Honestly though JB is criticised for taking time in releasing albums, he rarely miss on sound quality. His music is good most of the times; He is an artist who will rarely deceive when the song comes out. So why kicking out Kibens? I am sure he is somehow contributing everytime to JB's albums positively. He can stay there for life as long as we have songs like Engobo, Bolonia, Etoile du Berger, Correction, Mpunda.

The Best is at the end!!!
Esimbaka kaka epai ya JB.
I like when we can actually  laugh with zero polemique! Mbuta Likasu made my day!

Love is not defined by colour...you cant be mad at someone for marrying a white person

88
Wish you can understand that am not trying to start a fight or polemique...no time for that. Sorry if I offended you.
Just a quick background on this; I invited a few people at my place different nationalities and they asked me the question above after I played a few songs from Koffi, who by the way I love his music.
Some were surprised that I listen to his music after hearing about how he behaves.

89
Why do you personally listen to someone who is a wanted criminal in some countries, who raped and abused women. Is the 'me too' movement not apply to Congo? Is Koffi Weinstein Cosby Olomide according to you worth all the hype surrounding him or is he a psycopath (according to Karmapa) who need to be jailed?

@ vieux Mvulusi96, I feel like Monde Arabe with songs like Silvie and  others, there's professionalism. Enough quality rumbas and really good sebenes that you can dance to. BEK might be listened I agree, but its not as Monde Arabe...by that time you could feel that Koffi's sound is being watered down, I dunno by Cindy or by himself.
I will never have the courage to listen to 13e apotre, and I think Koffi himself knows it and thats why he is bombarding us with a new song every month, and nothing he produces is good anymore, quality worsens and some songs are just torture. I wish he can just retire like he promised and just be a mentor for upcoming musicians.
