Zaiko has the album: Saisie en Douane, 20 ans déjà. But interestingly Nyoka Longo does not appear on it. Why? How could it happen they created a release without him? Could someone write something of the background of this release?

When the animator was in action in Losambo, you could really feel the absence of Kila Mbongo. That song is not the same without him.

His concert from today. They covered some nice old tunes!

It's worth listening to, some of the greatest solos of the band:

Related but a bit different topic: any idea of a live video of Fleur De Lys?

Big loss but he left a great work behind.

Indeed, I forgot to list them here. They have lots of older titles as well. A very good source.

Thanks for clarifying!

I remember now, from that song, but what was his role?

Emery Boyard? Never heard of him, which album did he contribute to?

One of my favourite tracks is on his album:

"le pape du soukous"

Just as something interesting related:

A year before Petit was still in Familia Dei, releasing their last album. Though that album is not among my favourites, he did some nice solos on some tracks:

In this one, who was the animator? I remember this guy from some albums.

As I remember he appears on several live videos of Zaiko in the 2000's.

Who was the soloist on Pamadi? Volvo, right?

I think Boyibanda was also present in the band in the middle of the 80's, too. You can see him on videos, for example in Chacun Pour Soi.
