Indeed, I forgot to list them here. They have lots of older titles as well. A very good source.

Thanks for clarifying!

I remember now, from that song, but what was his role?

34
Emery Boyard? Never heard of him, which album did he contribute to?

"le pape du soukous"

Just as something interesting related:

A year before Petit was still in Familia Dei, releasing their last album. Though that album is not among my favourites, he did some nice solos on some tracks:

In this one, who was the animator? I remember this guy from some albums.

38
As I remember he appears on several live videos of Zaiko in the 2000's.

Who was the soloist on Pamadi? Volvo, right?

39
I think Boyibanda was also present in the band in the middle of the 80's, too. You can see him on videos, for example in Chacun Pour Soi.

40
Some of them were iconic members in the career of OK Jazz, so those should definately be counted. Like Youlou or Wuta Mayi.

As Josky is gone, I wonder which members are still alive from the famous line-up? Especially from the big names. What I know for sure is that Sam Mangwana is alive, and Malage, and there was a young guy around the end of the 80's, I don't know his name, but I guess he is still alive considering his age back then. Who else is still with us?

coincidentally in an interview of joss diena 3 days ago he was singing chandra

To me that was his best song ever. RIP

43
Never noticed these, but nice pieces. It is stunning how big the band was already back then!

44
Nice piece, but it is rather a 70's tune, isn't it? It sounds newer to me than the old sound.
