Werrason hired a big bus to ferry his team clad in Karate attire to their first TV interview after the London fiasco. Mayi Ya Kamba is now fully integrated. Werrason just loves drama...!
Rumour has it that Cafe Roum and Chinois were not part of the group that returned with WMM from London. If they never got any permission which I think they didn't do, then that is the end. There is also rumours that Djenny left. I think Werrason saw it coming, he has recruited close to 10 new musicians and they are the ones mostly actively participating in his new album. I would say they are very good, better than most first team guys.
I cannot see Werrason's Facebook page. Is it down for mentenance or his admin has blocked me? I have been fighting a lot with them over the poor management of the page.
A few days ago, Fally refused to talk about Koffi. He has now shared a post saying that he never started his career in Koffi's band but only passed through the group, he started his career in Bandal...
Ok guys, jokes aside....on a serious note, let us just listen to congolese music and enjoy. We all know groups are no longer as competitive as they used to be. To musicians, it is business and obviously they cannot put in 100% if it is nolonger as remunerative as it used to be. Let us appreciate the little effort they put in amidst very difficult circumstances.
We have a diverse fanbase on this forum and we learn a lot through sharing. We have a lot of Werrason fans here and not everyone might enjoy the negativity towards him, it is like we are taking the polemique off the streets of Kinshasa and bringing it here. It creates unnecessary negative energy and might make the platform toxic. My advice is that if we don't like an artist, skip the post unlike these negative comments or at least keep the negativity to yourselves. Otherwise we will turn this nice group into a platform for attacking artists, which is not good! Let us learn, share and respect our friends that might be strong fans for artists we don't like. I think this is what has made this platform strong and mature over the years.
The current line up is full of excellent talent. It is unfortunate that we nolonger have the europe concerts and beer backed shows which have led to a decline in Congolese music. I know we have different tastes and I totally respect that but I find this group very balanced and super talented! This is essentially the starting line up. Diego is nolonger a regular. I know they are searching for two animators to beef up and bring competition in the department.
Right 6. Inongo 7. Dinara 8. Yanik Dindo 9. Chinois 10. Ozil 11. Michigan
ANIMATORS 12. Jamaique 13. Golbert
INSTRUMENTALISTS 14. Kakol 15. Bikorino 16. Sarah Solo 17. Hugo Synthe 18. Djino Bass 19. JB Bondo 20. Mbonda from East Africa
Meanwhile enjoy versatile Inongo and Catholique. Inongo can sing almost all voices on the left and Catholique can sing all voices on the right. He sings Ferre, Lacoste and Heritier's voices perfectly well.
