Congolese Music / Re: I THINK AMBULANCE GETS TOO MUCH CREDIT
« on: June 27, 2017, 21:48 »
Not taking anything away from him. He obviously is dominating all the generiques since Bercy left. But if you listen closely, his animations are either one dimensional or his voice is more tenor than falsetto. And if you listen to Charge generique, he animates more like Brigade but with a different voice. Is there anything like too much of atalaku in a generique?

But then this is my opinion. And what happened to the so called Bill replacement? I thought he was supposed to be on this album?

Listen to Kelvis Nkoyi and Antiballes does great animation and also another generique where he has more minutes.

I damn love Femme Modele, Gigas, Ali Mayimona Rhumbas besides the generiques. Ambulance, Golbert and Antiballes -great job

But notable one is great vocals by Nsone and arrangement.

Bikorine has proved that indeed he is a refined soloist. And now a new guitar from US.

Where has Werra been hiding this guy Anti Balle? Ayayaya! He's got an easy and fun style around him and yet there wasn't much talk about him before the album. I think he's the among the biggest winners of this album together with Ambulance.

Still stuck ato Kelvis Nkoyi ???? ???? ???? ???? ????
Check repetitions round March to May, Antiballes was doing Bill parts and also abit of the Semaine cries. He is quite a good dancer too and still young.

from the info i got from kin, what happened is that heritier got angry at kunzardo for turning up two hours late when they were preparing choreography in hope for olympia concert and it coincided with prince visiting and potentially joining
and it had been an habit from kunzardo to be very late at concerts and rehearsals because of two factors the first being that he lives  very far from the area most of the music is played in kinshasa the second is that...well how can i say it without disrepecting kunzardo...
If you guys remember at some point kunzardo went into gospel and even recorded 10 sons but was encouraged  to get back into "secular music" as his lifestyle had massively dropped and the reason why he went into gospel was that he went for a "deal" which was too strong for him so it backfired on him causing some mental issues which came back  sometimes and heritier accepted him like that seeing what he has to offer, but due to heritier getting angry like that and removing him on concert list he felt unsecure with prince's presence

Regarding Prince joining, Kunzardo shouldn't feel insecure about that as he's better than him...i still dont understand why people rate that guy, all he does is shout, soo annoying to listen to. Kunzardo has that complexe when a musician joins a smaller group from a big one, he feels he can turn up late to rehearsals and not be questioned..even worse being shout out by someone who's almost same age as you.

You can say whatever but Prince is better than Kunzardo for two reasons: Showman quality and Voice, Kunzardo has some nice lyrics but I don't think that Mm or BCBG (if JB wasn't against people from other groups) would take him the only problem of Prince is that he doesn't know how to write powerful cries of doesn't buy those because he has a voice which could have lead to him being the number one atalaku in Wenge thing that never happened, Heritier since Brandon has gone has lost the imprevidibility that atalaku has and plus Kunzardo has gone away so Prince is what Heritier need to go on on the generique part
Prince does not have a strong voice and Kunzardo has better creativity. Try watch Prince on live repetitions and you will notice his weakness.

Damn, Werra said don't call me faux chanteur ever again with Ali Mayimona. Rhumba propre with Sarah solo killing it!

The generiques deliver and Kelvis Nkoyi is an old school sebene song Werra was famous for

Kelvis Nkoyi is a lovely sebene track. The animation by Anti Balles and Makaba's solo guitar is quite impressive.

Kunzardo will definitely make it in Maison Mere as he is very creative and strong. Diego is sleeping on the job on the tenorist atalaku side.

Congolese Music / Re: WERRA RETURNS TO KINSHASA

Werra has done it severally and especially when some members have moved to other groups. Fans do receive him i believe because of loyalty. Yesterday's repetition, my main note is great solo by Makaba and Miel/Caferum great vocals.

128
Werra may not be the best singer but he does sing well. Actually in concerts he does well and mostly on the lead in most songs.

129
Archos, Olivier actually had a position in charge of recruitment and believe Werra had good plans for him. Am pretty sure you may soon see him begging back.
Arnake is not such a good singer and less confrontational.  He has to play his cards well.

Also Wata's singers might cross over to MM.

Congolese Music / Re: FERRE GOLA - POISSON D'AVRIL (CLIP)
« on: June 10, 2017, 15:10 »
unfortunately the bashing is permanent,in a ferre video you'll find fally or werra fans bashing,in a werra video you'll find some heritier and ferre bashing aswell as some very hardcore bcbg fans who could not care less about jb and werra having made peace,in a fally video you'll see ferre fabregas and heritier fans,in a fabregas video you'll see fally and koffi fans, in robinio's videos you'll see fans of heritier and fabregas bashing him just because he praises fally and is too honest about his relationship with them guys,in videos of whoever does not almost bow to heritier you'll see plenty of heritier fans bashing, in a video of jb you'll see fans of koffi bashing plus some hardcore maison mere fans, in videos of le grand mopao ....well...you'll see..... what you'll see i no dey want problem ohhhh

Archos, i like your reviews.  I seem to like Ferre but i find most songs also monotonous of late. I wish he could be on lead and give his singers lines in the songs.

131
Archos, i absolutely agree with you. Am also sure that he has learnt a lesson from most recent departures, especially happening just when he is to release an album.

Am happy the young man who does Olivier part is now accorded first team after many years in the reserves.

132
Has he joined Maison Mere already or it's still speculation that he'll join?
He has confirmed joining WMM

133
He always has a way of weathering storms. The 4  were key members to leave then.

134
Christian Ozil joining WMM adequately  covers Eboa and Olivier. A versatile singer and dancer.

i think when Ferre, Bill, JDT, Ndombe, Mabiala left, was the biggest scare then and Werra managed to build another formidable team.

135
The solo guitar is reminiscent of Makaba's Wenge 4x4 early days
