I was about to make a post about MM's issues and this drops out. I have to say that I was expecting it. A lot of you are asking how in the world a guy who is the number one atalaku in Wenge could leave for a smaller group, where he would probably be the 3rd/4tg well it is simple. PAYMENTS. Bill was even bigger than Ambulance but left, even though he wanted to stay for ever. It is always about money, MM will collapse soon if Werra doesn't start to change that bully empire that he have built, once Deplick went to Werra for asking him 300$ [which in European standard (not change value but terms of living) it is about 2000€] and Werra gave it, then Deplick was visited by administration, Kakol and so on and he left with 50$. This is a small example of how Wenge works and now I understand why MM doesn't have the same appeal, you cannot always rely on donors to pay your employees if Werra doesn't want to finish like Djino needs to stop acting greedy
Wenge Musica Maison Mere is Werrason. He is the alpha and Omega.......staff will come and go. I never imagined life after Bill & Celeo but here we are. I liked Ambulance a lot but found him noisy plus irritating as he became more confident on stage and started running all over the place. Goldberg is good.......he needs the opportunity to progress & is in the Bill Clinton mould. I expect more from this guy

Did you know that Werra's staff had the previous forums that existed before CongoVibes eliminated from the internet? Very frustrating as it fractured the established online Congolese music community. Hence why there's a special section for Werrason posts.
His people have relaxed in recent years, but we still have to be careful, as eyes are everywhere.

I read Yanky Mpuy’s brief obituary of Chela and he credited him for all the songs I mentioned…….I find it very frustrating, confusing and disappointing that Congolese artistes cannot give us accurate information. I think that these brains behind most of these blockbuster songs deserve open recognition as opposed to this closet type of recognition. We want to see their names credited on CD sleeves.
I thought the author of Blandine was Chela naChina who passed away just this December! He is credited with authoring Blandine pemba, Femme model, 520 Gigas, Demi Tour, Loin de toi etc
I like how when MM get Ferre's former musicians it's breaking news and buzz of the moment and MM feel like they have hit the jackpot but when they get musicians from other groups we don't hear a sound...meaning Ferre is the true formateur and his musician are treated like superstars when they join another group but somehow MM will go on tv and say stuff like "biso to calculaka ye te"
Ferre is a feeder band. You can call him formateur if you want but he is just like all the academies in football, that supply talent to the big teams.
i have always said maison mere does not necessarily always have the most talented musicians but they have the right "model" system which attracts young guys ,and the same system was used by ex maison mere guys especially ferre and wata who are exploiting the most that system at the moment
I have to disagree with you Archos for the first time......Maison Mere has always had the most talented singers and musicians in Congo. Werrason is the worst singer but his inability to sing is heavily compansated by being an excellent, hardworking and innovative musician. I would go as far as saying that in modern times, the only other group that has come near to a pefect team was the Quartier Latin of Sam, Modogo, Suzuki, Babia, Depitsho, Bourro, Mamale et al.........I have not seen any team, pound for pound that is better than Maison Mere.

Unfortunately, all the ex-WMMM staff who are now leaders of their own groups, stand to lose their musicians to Maison Mere. The fact is that going to Werra is perceived as graduating to the WMMM University. He is the father of their clan & all these musicians from the family want to go there and work with him. In a way it is pay back for all the hard work he did with Ferre & co......whatever your opinions are; that he is now benefitting from a supply of a good crop of musicians that are trained and schooled in the WMMM style of music........tough for Ferre but that is the way of the world.
Guys can se please not act like we have to hate each other? He or she asked a simple opinion and saying you are blind in that way is not cool especially knowing how much blind people condition is if you wanna express an opinion express it with civility and respect instead of doing like this thanks
