Actually, simba Wanyika was a Tanzanian Group.
The leaders were George Peter and  Wilson Peter Kinyonga,  and they ruled the East African radio Airwaves in the early seventies.

Following some disagreements, the band broke up into three: The Original Simba Wanyika, Les Wanyika and Jobiso.
Of the three, Les Wanyika led by John Ngereza survived until the late eighties.
