Title: WILL RETIRADA PUT HERITIER IN THE SAME SPOT OF FALLY AND FERRE?
Post by: Manzambi94 on August 03, 2016, 08:38
Retirada will come out soon, and with the success of BM, Hèritier showed he can esailly do it on a solo way, Further more he adds that BM is a small preview of more quality songs is about to release on the album, my question is, will Hèritier be able to reach Fally and Ferre which are the two lbiggest ex-group members who had an excellent solo carrer?
To me yes, because BM has a really good video and had more than 300k views which is a success for a Rumba, knowing that generique are way more popular I think that with a generique with all the atalaku Hèriter has he will reach the milion, being able to become the 3rd big soloist after Ferre and Fally.

With Fally no, he has a long way to go to reach his level. He could get to atleast Ferre's level or beyond internationally. He will at least be a solid third artist behind Fally and Ferre.

I hope he can be the third , he can reach fally level , he just need to learned english and he will be fine.

For ferre i'm not sure (Heritier do not have a strong voice),and also because like fabregas , Heritier do not have strong team singer. And also he would have to have a lot of concert to federate a strong and big fanbase.

Fally do it well , Ferre less good in that departement .

So it's up to him to work hard to make is place alongside the other two.

Also with out talking what Werrason and other big leader of group will do to sabotage him if he as succes( stealing singer ,dancer, staff member, stoping him to have concert the list goes on... It's difficult to keep the same team after the years , and something the quality drop(werrason , koffi...)

So if he can do all of this , and make good music( he need a big impact with this first album to stand out with the like robinio fabregas brigade and so on) ;)

But i want him to succeeded WENGE HEHEHE WENGE YAYA HEHEHEHE

To me Heritier has more charisma and strong on sebenes than ferre Gola. He will certainly be second from fally.

To me comparing him with Fally and Ferre, he can definitely be better than Fèrre in generique, but really hard for him to be better than Fèrre on Rumbas, on a national level he can be as good or better than Fèrre reaching all the districts, being not touched by the rivalry from the fans of Fèrre and Fally, comparing him with Fally, for the generique we need to see how the first one will be, because Fally on the level of quality and  releasing video for generique he is the best, and if you want to compete an international level and become like Koffi and other big guys you need to have really good quality videos of generique, for the international level, I don't know he have contacts in the America but he is to linked to Congo for being an international sensation.

Manzambi, it takes a two year old kid to understand that heritier knocks out ferre without an album to his name. Besides generics, heritier has been schooled very well in rumbas and has no bad voice. Overall he will definitely beat shetani.

The fact is not the bad voice but bad intonation, Héritier started to sing good just in his latest songs and even in BM he goes into the same mistakes of intonation he were doing in wenge, even they are shadowed by the fact he doesn't sing from the diaphram but sing like he were speaking in a low voice, and goes to the falsetto voice, when he needs to go higher, what Héritier's strength is is that his style of Rumba is differnet and unique unlike Férre which always try to replicate the Tabu Ley's and Carlito's style, and listen to the other songs in the whole project of songs it is really good. But he still needs to upgrade his voice even in Nkanda Ngobila the whole thing is good but Hériter uses the 60% of his voice.

Heritier knocking out Ferre?? This is insanity!, you boys u derestimate Harve. We all like heritier yes but being 2nd from who?, that is the question? Why are you endosing Fally as always better than Ferre were the case is very much debatable.

I never said that Héritier sings better than Férre no way is going to be like that, but the fact is that Férre's Rumba are repetitive, while Héritier is more versatile, and then I add that Héritier still needs to work for having his A game in singing BM was fufu in terms of singing but really good in terms of promotion this is why EMO saying that Héritier will take the 2nd spot, but to me Férre's gonna be Férre but Héritier's album gonna be a huge thing. BM 400k views with no promotions now imagine the other songs which are better than BM how they gonna perform?

I think it will all come down to how he packages himself as a product and a brand and how he delivers that product to the masses. Sometimes it's not just the ability to do good music that counts but coming up with a commodity that the market wants to own.

He has to be prepared to do the hard work, keep learning,  keep improving. I hope he has a business plan attached to his dream and vision of becoming a superstar.

Exactly fally is musically mainstream so he is like by more pepole , does not do much just what pepole like easy to dance , say some word in english , photo with others star and more important seems to have a good relationship with Koffi so it work well in is favor.

In the other hand you have Ferre who is a complete artist , and more talented but is more underground (only pepole who really look at congolese music know him)  , i ask lots of my friends they know koffi , papa wemba , zaiko and fally even fabregas for ya mado just for ya mado ;D) but very few knew who was ferre.

And the fact that Ferre is not in good terms with werrason make a lots of pepoles hate him and dont wont the recognize is superiority despite the quality of is music.

That's why i say Heritier can repalce Fally, he is young he can play this game of marketing things(which is important), be in good terms with werra for benefit the fan base of Wenge.

Fabregas with one song made the all world dance so is easy just do mainstream music
and he will be fine.

He can be at Fally level he just need good mainstream generique easy to dance and people will follow.

To me he has those things because with BM even though he say that he has not promoted it, he showed that he knows how to create that expectation, that lead people to want your album, for the quality, I have listened to some songs and the quality is there, in the whole the group is really good, and being Hèritier the enfant cherie of Werrason people will be interested in seeing how he is going to develop as a solo artist as Ferre Did. For being like Fally instead he needs to seriously promote himself in USA. Fabro did a good impact song like Mascara but he has not being costant in his music.

Ferre = JB. They have the same model of running their Affairs. So werrason always beats Jb internationally just like fally does to ferre.

No Férre is not  like JB Férre release material in a costant way, the problem with Fèrre is taht he does great instrumental for generique but have a bad taste for the atalaku, Ruth Nzele & Bercy, which I think are the grossest atalakus ever, had always a role of relevance while they shouldn't partecipate on any album, on Seben by Férre great guitar and drumming and the atalaku section is shit like always, and for the international level, Férre needs to know English in a regular way, and be able to promote his music in America comparing with his rival Fally, Hustler is Back is horrible to me but being well promoted in US had 4 milion views, Libre parcours series generique who was release indipendently and was 1000 times better than Hustler is Back has 2 milion on the second generique, Fèrre needs to think less like Werra and more like Koffi. He tried though to go international with that J Martins song Ekelebe, but Nigeria is not US.

JB keep same dude since the dawn of time so when he need punch and new inspiration well good luck to him

Fally keep the same team of unknown singer (every time a I hear a name i'm like who?) anyway he as pretty much the same team but since he advertising himself in the first place so it's not significant.

Werra change a lot of musicians and vocal so sometime the quality is good some time bad (lately very bad in my opinion..)

Ferre do to departures as change is team of musician and singer but the quality stay pretty much the same with up and down in the generique because rumba ferre can handle it pretty much the all album ( even if people complaint about it) he can do it all alone.

So heritier in my opinion should focus is strategy on him few album and then couple of highlight on some of the talented guy he as in the group.

Jb mpiana and ferre are similar in that they want to play music like a Congolese for Congolese, that's what I meant. I also find both to be lazy and do not use their full potential. Were as for koffi, werrason, fally these put in their best.

Some comments here have objectively done justice to the topic being discussed here, therefore, there is no point debating whether Ferre is better than Fally.  We are talking about relevance both locally and internationally, please. Fally has got his high points as well as his low points in all the genres(so to say)Congolese music is known for; same for Ferre.
In my opinion, the 3 artistes being talked about here have got to have their objective(s) for doing whatever they are doing and that should be their drive : whether for international acceptance or just being known and promoted in DRC or the neighbouring countries .
And we all know what drives Fally and Ferre, let us give Heritier some time to know what he stands for too.

So guys 29th of august will be time of the truth, BM views keeps rising his views and now I say my prediction, Hèritier will go directly to the number one spot of young soloist in Congo, and will battle with Chiffre 14 the leadership of the album in 2016

Fally, Mohombi, Maitre Gims, Toofan, Stromae, Magic System, Meiway, P-Square, Sarkodie, Yemi Alade, Koffi when he was a serious person... The fact is that Ferre don't sell internationally, is not about views but about the fact that Fèrre on his full potential should be internationally worldwide known but is known in Congo and in Africa and on the other places only from the Congolese diaspora, while Fally is known from the french, american, portuguese, and for the other of my list they all sold worldwide milion of disc being African or of African origins. And Férre still can't do it, the reason why he can't is bad atalaku system, he is god in the Rhumba but if you don't have a good generique only African people will listen to the Rumbas. Taking P-Square all of their song went worldwide are dance songs, Magic System, they got famous with 1er gaou, Stromae alors on danse party song, Toofan Gweta dance's song. So this is why a lot of people say is not international. He is not selling as he should being an artist of his caliber.

What evidence do you have that Ferre is not selling internationally or is not known internationally? In OK Jazz time generiques were nonexistent but their music was regarded the best in Africa...Papa Wemba became international artist not with generiques, so you failed on that point already.  This Ferre is not international  debate has no factual evidence apart from people's opinions and preferences is the drive force behind it.

ferre is often given the same treatment as jb for the same reason that they are guys who let things come at them and not guys who"look very active" like koffi fally werra posting whatever they do very often and so on but he is definitely known abroad but fpr sure he does not build a certain image exactly like jb they are more of the types of guys who do their business on stage and in studio and not too much into  whats outside(even though jb has that yohji thing)
like  kongolo often says if you know ferre in private you'll see he has "done" more that what he shows on tv and media in general, also seen  african stars and even done feat with some but he could not care lass about releasing it fast, a bit like jb since i have seen this comparison in the topic he gets there are feats done and in project but zero buzz done around it

That JB treatment some people give Ferre its insulting and misdirected. Ferre makes big effort for his music to cross Africa by releasing different type of songs and staying active with albums and doing featurings with selective artists. IF posting pics of yourself on insta or fb begging a selfie with American and Nigerian artist makes you international than international yango ebeba, hence why Lacoste calls himself Mr international.

It was other days it was another Congo, Congo was known internationally in the 60's because of the independence nad the sad fact of Lumumba Mobutu, so USA people and Western World had easy access on the congolese music on the 70's Muhammad Ali came in Kin for fighting foreman so American again and western world were crazy over congolese and black american people saw that as their missing country, third fact good relationship with Mobutu, mobutu beside politic opinion has done everything to make Congo go international with the music and the culture, and even though generique wasn't that popular foreigners respected and loved Rumbas a lot in fact Tabu Ley was one of the most sellin artist in Belgique during those times earning an awards from the belgian government after Mobutu's death, that Rumba thing stopped and the generique became the main force, and it is until now the day that Fèrre will release a generique on his own with no atalaku behind it will be the day he will be more known than Fally.

From one album you're saying he's gonna be number one? he'll be top 3 for sure but not number one fally and ferre have 10 years solo experience so lets just wait and see before you say he'll be number one and remember fally and ferre are also releasing albums so for all we know they may be better than Retirada

Is funny how you guys disrespect Ferre gola a lot i have been in this form almost a year Retirada can never reach ferre gola level i said it with clear eyes ever fally is not popular than ferre in times of international I'm a nigeria  in my country we listen to congolese music a lot, nigerians like fally ipupa because he can dance and make all the ladys go gaga  nigerian like ferre gola because he can sing and he have a golden voice all the west africa country knows ferre gola very well come to lagos club you we hear  ferre gola generiques come to bangkok club you we see  dj playing ferre gola generiques I'm not hating on fally or heritier, And for the congolese people here you guys complains a lot about  Ferre gola cut his hair you guys said he copy fally he make a music video you said he copy fally his dressing unah say he still copy fally now if he want to sing with all international artist you guys we still say that he is copying fally  please leave ferre gola alone let him do his thing ..... make my word no nigeria we tell you they like fally than ferre you can confirm it if you think I'm lying ask any nigerian between fally and ferre who they like most .... abeg make unah repsect Ferre gola abeg
This post was not about disrespecting Férre in anyway, I personally know and I not discuss about Férre's superiority in singing, no ohter singer in Congo can naturally sing like him, what we are discussing if is primary Héritier will be able to be the number one soloist in Congo or not and if his album will make him known internationally more than Fally and Férre, then we ended up discussing if Férre was more known internationaly then Fally and the answer is no. Férre is a well known singer and dancer in whole Africa but he is not very well known outside, whatever reason behind the fact, facts are like that, I am a Férre's fan more than Fally and I am a Wenge MMM fan since I fisrt knew what music was, but I am also really objective on the facts, it does hurt my heart seeing that Férre is not getting enough international credits as he should except in Africa, Férre is a huge singer the best in Congo no doubt about it.

Retirada anyway will put Fally outside of the number one spot, I was doubting it, but after that BM performance, Hèritier is on his way to become the number one force in Congo.
On this one, I hope you researched well before making this careless statement.
EMO, the  numbers are there, everywhere they talking about the upcoming album of Héritier, even the haters started to apreciate Héritier after BM and now everybody are waiting for the sortie of Retirada, you will see it is gonna be the biggest success since Droit Chemin and Original mark my words here
From one album you're saying he's gonna be number one? he'll be top 3 for sure but not number one fally and ferre have 10 years solo experience so lets just wait and see before you say he'll be number one and remember fally and ferre are also releasing albums so for all we know they may be better than Retirada
We will see but I stay with my idea and if I will be wrong I will accept the fact that I was wrong.

This forum has and will always be anti Ferre...I don't know why the man gets soo much negative comments and clueless analysis with no facts. Back to the topic, Retirada looks promising and the generique will not disappoint with my guy Kunzardo on it

JV again i'm not anti-Férre I prefer Férre than fally in my opinions. It was about the internationality.

Just because we don't have people talk about what we would want to hear all the time should not make it look like the forum is in favour of one artiste over the other. Can we just be objective and trash all the unnecessary sentiments into the dustbin for once please... The poster raised an issue about Heritier getting to where Ferre& Fally are and people began to give their opinions....How did that suddenly translate to the forum being anti-Ferre? I would need some clarification please for it seems when people talk about what they don't like or perceive not to be too cool about a certain artiste we always take it in a wrong way and begin to sound too sentimental.

Look here people, it's very difficult not to discuss ferre gola's popularity and position in this mix of the three, because the thread calls for it.the thread is asking us to analyse whether retirada will make heritier rub shoulders with ferre and fally. Now I want to repeat, heritier has a better chance of knocking off ferre from second position because he beats ferre when you factor in the ballad vs sebene attributes. Plus I find him to have a slight edge on charisma. Let's wait and see. I will not talk about fally because he has more trophies than ferre.

The good thing about all this is that it's shadowing the traditional discussions of koffi, werra and Jb who to me are handing over the Brazilian Olympic torch.

Guys one thing is to say you don't like other people's choice but honestly being compared to a racist, mysoginist and sexist white man who thinks that money are the only way to get it through life, is not something that I accept to be compared with, the post was about Héritier in first place and on the possibility of this guy's album to perform better than Ferre and Fally's debut, period. I really don't know how it came defining posters and commenters like racist, sexist and mysoginist just for showcasing their opinion. The fact of not having an album doesn't mean anything, Fally Ipupa, Les Marquis, Férre himself hadn't any CD after their departure form QL and Wenge and look what Les Marquis made in only a year and what Fally and Férre done in a decade. I am objective I already said a 1000 times that I prefer Férre than Fally, and that beside his first album Droit Chemin and his last Libre Parcours, there is no way Fally is better than Férre in Rumba, and then I added that nowadays you need a killer generique to perform well on an international level, and than the thing degenerate, if you want to post any comments on this topic make sure to not define me and other as that silly and patetic guy from USA.

In all sincerity, there needs to be some decorum on this forum. Most of us always forget that this is a public forum thus,we tend to get carried away with what we do and how we see ourselves outside of here and expect such from people here. We are not in our various homes or with our circles of friends.  Here, we are a blend of people from all nationalities around the world and we have all got different philosophies about life and all that pertains to it. So I do not think we have to become rude or disagreeable over topics/issues raised on the platform. We can't all be the fans of the same artiste neither should we expect people to support our opinions at all times. We need to always have that at the back of our minds.
There are days you get here and you see a supposed adult tongue lashing a fellow adult simply because the former didn't support the latter and vice versa. Please, this is social media.  We don't have to engage in virtual combats over nothing.
There are just a few people who know how to explain issues and answer questions without displaying any form of sentimentality or negative emotions here.  I believe we can also learn from these people instead of throwing insults at one another. Lastly, I do not think it was written anywhere as a rule that we must comment on posts/threads; if what is being discussed(on a particular post/thread) is not in our favour, we should gently walk away and move on to the next topic of interest.
There is so much to learn here than to allow negative emotions get in our, please.

Ken, I have grown up. You were not there when we formed these forums. I have been in hot, uncomfortable, annoying forums before. Your insults will not in anyway affect me. You are a light weight if I compare you to boxing. comments I make emanate from the analytical skills I have gained over the years I have listened and watched Congolese music. I can guarantee that heritier will be on to of ferre Gola. Come to Zambia and cut of my finger if my prophecy won't come to light. I will buy u the air ticket.

Kikeiekiekeiekeiekeie Mudala for the first time you have allowed yourself to be carried by emotions. I have never thrown any insult to any one in here, just because someone felt that referring to some comments as Donald Trump is an insult should not make you feel insulted. Anyway Donald Trump is known for making statements without clear facts perhaps that is what I mean. If we were to be carried by emotions, personally I would be fighting with most of you  here since most of the threads here are not favorable to Baba Del Pirlo.

If you stay with your opinion brother then there won't be a debate. Of importance here is to be tolerant in time of divergent opinion at the same time being accommodative. Ferre/fally debate and now Wata is always polarizing.
