Finally I've been waiting for this one. He's been too quiet over the years, he's been performing with Soleil and Somono at times.

chikito's interview confirms what i said and was told in an old topic, the old guard knew if they allowed ppu guys to have a proper chance they were dead in the game so they did everything to ruin their reputation to jb(knowing for example that in the codes of wenge its a good thing when you come and you receive a lot of gifts but if it happens too quick too much be certain that you will have problems, even if jb and werra on tv will say they are happy that musicians returned happy with gifts) and reach a level where jb does not want to feel you anymore,jb is a man of extremes either you are cool and you can be the 3rd drummer and sharing a pizza with him either you are not cool and even if you were a chef he wont talk to you for ages(examples of titina and aimelia)

no now its different he talks with titina a bit less with aimelia(more with his wife who he still mentions in every album) but i mean when he has suspected you too much and has been feed with stories about you and want you based on all that you are done, but it happens that he gets back to better mood example bogus bompema and rio who he also was not talking to at some point for a while until they could sort it out
he is not the type to feel something about you and tell you just when you started,he'll see something then another then 10 others then he goes in full ignore mode because he considers he's had enough but you can be somebody like zulema and accumulate everything he does not like but be safe because he loves you way too much
both titina and lias its partly because of rivalry with koffi

Yeah man you’re right they make Koffi look like a saint, the fact that he said the difference between QL and BCBG is that in QL you don’t have to go through chiefs to meet with Koffi he’s easy to access whilst with Jb you have to go through so many chiefs, and he only ever spoke with Jb 3 times during his time in the group. So weird

thats clan wenge system guys leaders talk to you if they want to ask you something, other than that by the time you want to approach you have seguin or kakol or jdl or guys like that blocking your way
you'll for example see guys who have made history in bcbg or maison mere but will say that they never went to jb or werra house because only a handful had access
while with koffi its different, in simple terms in quartier latin koffi uses a system in which being a chef guarantees nothing you can be a chef and become less important than a newcomer if koffi decides he does that on purpose to have full control of the group there are favorite with advantages but he tries to deal with everything, while in wenge you have to win over the guards, then win over the one or two clans around the boss then you  can get hopefully access and those guys you have to pass by represent loyalty in the leaders eyes and if you appear less loyal for x or y reason then they can freeze you out and another "climbs" in the hierarchy to take your spot

loool yaya if you spend two days of rehearsal in clan wenge you will laugh and cringe even to go salute the boss at times you have to wait on the chiefs  to make a sign to you to approach otherwise you can see a bodyguard push you on a code given by one of the chiefs "ozo kende wapi dii zala bongo, boni ba vitesse boye"
now they have made an effort though but in those days mannnn you a mayindombe for example in maison mere or  them ppu in bcbg you go and stand next to jb or werra that you want to talk whaaaaat  you'll get " sss ahhhh de la foret  with him nodding his head in disbelief that you dare approached him and get a good rude answer" you'll get "ehhhh tala petit oyo omoni nga masta na bino? ozo ya pe o pesa nga mbote na bengi yo?"
i think its also an "heritage" leaders have been carrying throughout generations, a guy like robinio is not even afraid of cameras if he wants to tell his musician who did a mistake "you are lucky that there are big heart people like me who hire you otherwise you'd be a kuluna somewhere with that ugly face"

Our music reaches a very very harmful dimension, it's really unfortunate. You can be a leader and another person a simple musician but what is the purpose of being so haughty when the person is simply trying to greet you or show you some form of respect

It's a shame how everything that's happened made him no longer interested in music to the point he almost hates it. Even though he did well in the PPU I feel like he fitted better in QL cause in BCBG he wasted his time, it sucks that he was suspended (fired) from the group even when talking about it he has small regrets, I still think it was questionable that he got left behind for Bercy but Jordan was brought instead, seeing as Jordan was left behind frequently in all the african tours and Chikito was taken to everything and was on the main team. He could and should've rejoined QL after Jb abandoned the PPU in europe and after they split.

I mean guys I don't know what you expected to hear. At work do you talk daily with the president of the company? No.

JB is a very busy man with multiple business vemtures and music is his less important, Chikito was just a singer back tham he hadn't had the time to acknowledge him

Less important? You do know this was Jb back in his prime and not Jb of today. A music group is completely different to a company, you have rehearsals, concerts, studio, interviews, video shoots, travels, meetings, so of course it’s weird they only spoke 3 times

Chikito killed me with story of JB saying that Wemba & Koffi are finished and him talking about Zidane & Ronaldo.

Ferre could have used that story of Chikito & Fally dancing in front of Kofffi & him in Koffi’s office in première soin, but he surely forgot it.

Its really weird to hear that Koffi contacted Blaise Bula & Manda Chante to join Quartier Latin. He did the same thing to Werrason when Wenge 4x4 split.

Yeah I was really surprised to hear him say that they danced in front of Ferre, that’s way too humiliating thank God for them Depitcho was around and he put an end to it. Chikito did well to not mention Fallys name there cause it would’ve been a huge meltdown.

Lol if Blaise joined QL he could’ve been a laughing stock

Why didn't Chikito wait for the team to return from Europe after being left behind in Bercy? Roi Soleil Wanga didn't make the cut for Force de Frappe, but got included once they return to Kinshasa. Same with Spino, before Montana screwed him over

He did he already said here, he got handed a long suspension once they came back and he chose to leave because the suspension was too long his plan was to stay in QL and he didn't want to leave.
He's here with the rest of the group at 0:20 after they returned from the tour

and he's also there in the background with Fally and Eric Tutsi

Music is different from a company tho.

Music implies a certain link between the people in a group. How are you a chief in a band and you never talk to your musicians?

Wenge leaders are just a bunch of divas. All these things give us a clear understanding of how JB wasted his career.

That is the reason why youngsters do not care about Ndombolo and Gaz Mawete, Innoss'B are going the solo route and even guys with limited group experience like Materazzi and But Na Fillet are taking the solo route. It is better to have your own music and become successful rather than being in a group where you don't get paid, you get insulted and treated like less than a human being. Than they wonder why Fally and Innoss rack all the views

Why Fally still have complexes towards Ferre? I meam Fally has the bigger platform, the bigger audiemce, worldwide, ladies love him, but it feels like Fally still feels Ferre is on top of him

guys about the talking to leader thing, they mean talking outside music, which they were not doing much since leaders were letting chiefs ruling a lot, instead of the boss talking to you you'd hear " pres alobi ",also i think the way group started becoming bigger played a role because where groups were 10 to 25 max like the original wenge bcbg, the quartier latin of bercy, the original maison mere..it was tight units with the leaders more involved
now they have made an effort on that, also at times they were avoiding talking to musicians because they'd have for example to pay treatment of the aunt of a musician,a nephew kicked out of class and things like that

Yep, Fally and his online goons got everybody shook. It has also to do with the fact that Fally fanship is made of a lot of women and effeminate men, so they like to argue a lot. LOL.

Yep. Fally has still that chip on his shoulder when it comes to Ferre. That complex will never go. He's like a person that got bullied when he was in school, then he became more succesful than his bully but he still feels fear whenever that bully approaches him. He seems traumatized.

I think that deep down, despite being more succesfull, more rich, more demanded, etc. deep down he still feels like in the QL days when Koffi was praising Ferre despite Fally being there. Ferre is still seen as the better artist/singer, despite being less succesfull. Fally still can't stand it.

Wenger Leaders are strange, they make Koffi look like a saint. The imitation oh JB its on point lol "ehh ba petit bino bozo boule que bino nde bato bosala mukulu" ;D
So weird

I mean guys I don't know what you expected to hear. At work do you talk daily with the president of the company? No.

JB is a very busy man with multiple business vemtures and music is his less important, Chikito was just a singer back tham he hadn't had the time to acknowledge him

Music isn’t the same as a normal everyday company. What kind of comparison is that   ::)
Lol I know it’s a weird comparison

thinking about it since the koffi wemba rivalry, all the rivalry which arrived after the one who "won" cant just ignore the one who lost, despite koffi having a better 21st century than wemba he still had some sort of obsession about bokul especially who has made it more global in his career,jb and werra jb is given for dead for almost 20 years now but maison mere still has guns charged in any case ,ferre fally same story even worse, maybe innoss and gaz will follow

Of course Innoss is the clear winner of that. Gaz can't even dream or dare to have the success of Innos eh Petit Gazi si ozua ba 83 miliom na video Petit Gaz?

So the boss also gets a cut from the mabanga money for a musician's song in the album (this is more like the mafia style way of kicking up the loot to the boss)?

I feel for the dancers who have to sleep with even non entities on the promise of being on the list of Europe tours.

The Wenge stories makes me understand why @Mfumu Vata says the generation of clan Wenge are not 'musicians'. Lol. More than a year in a group and you only talk to the boss three times!

Is Yondi Yamamoto in Paris? I wud love to hear his story especially for the fact that "azalaki kobanga trop, akanisaki akoya te a kendaki  kosenga recour epai ya grand saudien po aya".

yes there is always a percentage from songs to the boss thats part of the game, and now unlike in the past leaders want you the musician to ask to your donor to fund clip too

OK that makes sense. Is that the reason why group albums are not popular mikolo oyo?

Lol. One thing is consistent in these former BCBG members intervuews. They all seem to have positive reviews of Alain Mpela as Chef apart from small isolated cases.

Yeah it seems Alain wasn’t the problem when it came to chiefs and even Tutu when he took over

alain mpela was a true chef, respected by everybody including kibens jdl seguin he also appeased a lot when mbuta kiss did not pay the musicians and he wanted to implement a system for every member to get a strict salary but then jdl and seguin  went to jb like boss  if you start paying this petits they'll get big headed and not show up to concerts look at the way they are treated like kings by fans (there came that famous " do you think its you who made jb mpiana" thing),because they invented stories like the ppu were saying bercy tour was only interesting because of them

slightly out of topic but related to one of ado's questions over how they like to sing praise of their leaders,i just realised and was explained by my brother that genta changed his style of animation on jb's demand in order to be able to include him in most of his main animation he'll come with so that folkloric chorus animation style suits to perfection rather than freestyle animation likevhe was doing in his early career
