the startegy of doing everything to piss the boss off then once fired say" you see i was fired" i did not leave on my own will
for those who dont understand lingala,vasco is saying that kunzardo have received several warnings already in the recent months and days but then at their concert of last sunday,kunzardo beat the guiy who makes the instruments setup on stage and bralima's executives were there when kunzardo beat that guy,complained about his mic 's volume they made it louder for him but he hanged it down and went to beat that instruments guy and even damaged his clothes and insulted around including bralima's bodyguards and so on
from then he was given that suspension,and vasco reminds us that guy digital was also suspended during 2months and half for breaking the group's rules and himself vasco also got suspended in the past (to explain that the rules are the same to everybody but ferre himself)

The guy did what Kunzardo asked so I don't know what kunzardo's problem is, for some reason he probably wants to go to La Zamba and if not that's not the case, I hope he takes his suspension like how Guy Digital did and just wait to return.

Unless they find a replacement for Kunzardo they might as well well play pre-Kunzardo sebene like Lubukulukumu and just make up sebene for concerts....lol Vasco didn't forget to mention his mom at the end.

But the question is why?? (logical reasons not that Sankara rhetoric) because if it's for songs then they should I waited because Ferre is now doing a group album... And unless Chikto secretly joined then he's not in because he said he's making his album and releasing a single soon.

I don't know of any Congolese musician who has returned to work after being suspended indefinitely so Kunzardo is as good as out and though regrettable I think it's a blessing in disguise as his animation is monotonous though even though interesting due to the messages in the animation. We will dearly miss him but such is life, unlike Guy Gola who returned, I don't think Kunzardo will wait for the suspension to be lifted, he has to soldier on for his pride and all the best to him.

Chikito is now a Maison Mere musician and he'll record his vocals in Europe as Maison Mere reported, the album he might release is just a cover up to show that he didn't join Maison Mere directly that's what they all do to avoid being seen as ingrates but off course we all know that he's with Maison Mere as the language he uses and the language Werra's henchman Sankara is using is in sync.

lol no if it was that he could have been jailed or something like that lol jb has tasked a bodyguard of following closely his girls so that theyy are not approached too closely(you know how the african education is,supposedly no relationship before being way over age of majority

Ferre banned his musicians from getting mabanga directly because sometime back some chaps in Europe whose names were not mentioned on the albums were up in arms trying to reclaim their money from Ferre, it is one of the reasons Nicodem also got into trouble. Nicodem and Chikito were even busy advertising mabanga on their facebook pages.
Papa Wemba is another top musician who has put in that ban too, all those wanting mabanga have to approach the boss directly as the boss and his arrangers decided what names and where they go in the song later in studio when the songs are finished.

Yes, discipline is very important, there should be a line drawn and even if it's a family member who crosses it, they have to face the wrath of the boss. Fally and Ferre are doing well and i like their business models, that's why they are successful.

Like l have always said. Diego has not impressed despite being the only real tenorist ataluku. Herritier was beaten by Diego during auditions and re joined later in the reserve. Kunzardo is a perfect fit for WMM. Lilly Nzumba and her hubby can fund Kunzardo's entry. This news hasnt helped Diego...he has been looking frastrated and drinking too much. Worse still he was left out of the europe tour. His other animation on is not so popular so with Werra a lot can happen within this period before Ingeta comes out. Werra can reconsile Kunzardo and Bercy and replicate Bill and Celeo combo in style....for now the guys arent saying whether he has been recruited or not.

They will remain. Their style only makes sense when its a compliment to WMM style. So Lobeso, Prince and Ambulance are very much in the plans.

i was about to report the same thing lol diego cao is quite frustrated with lack of chances of this last years and indeed ferre's guys are lining up him as a replacement for kunzardo who they think force his move out with what happened
here in europe i heard they will try to convince equaliser who still has a couple of playbacks he had agreed here then maybe join a group
michka and ferrari are on the list?jaimerose heritier and miel have french papers so they dont need visas it frees up space for other guys

Prince is not a pure tenorist. As it stands Diego and Prince do the old wenge 4 by 4 animations. Diego and Bercy do the Bill Celeo calls. Lobeso does his brand and that of Roi David. Ambulance does Brigade calls and stands in for anyone missing he also helps respond to other animators calls. Diego is weak and Kunzardo if joins will be a direct replacement to Diego.

Yup, it's rumored that he's leaving Ferre and If he does leave, Ferre might as well play 7eme Lecon and all the other sebene that Kunzardo wasn't apart and make special sebene just for concerts because he's the like Neymar to Ferre's animation team and if he's not there then their not the same team/group. It sucks that as soon as I'm starting to like him these rumors come up.

When they see average artists like Fabregas who from being a Fally reject made their names within a short time they cant avoid thinking the days of false loyalty are long gone.The Deplik of this world are getting big contracts when they were average artists in Quatier Latin. They see dollars chasing Limousine for his good singing in Grevi Mfutila song. The business model Ferre has works well for him but he has raised musicians who fit the WMM model...it works well for both parties.

We are talking of about 5 people including Kunzardo being out but Ferre has more musicians than that number, Kunzardo only joined Ferre's band about 5 years ago, there are others who have been in the band longer and on the sidelines. Ferre can literally have 3 bands looking at the staff his got.
In the case of atalukus, Sabalo who is also a tenor ataluku should be able to do Kunzardo's animation even Muana Congo should fill the void,am sure there are many others waiting for their break in the first team, just look at the rehearsals and see the numbers Ferre has recruited. Ferre would not have suspended Kunzardo had Kunzardo been irreplaceable, these guys are smart, they have lots of people waiting on the sides. Let's wait and see how the change will affect animation, i for one believe we need another tenor ataluku to change the style as Kunzardo's animation style can be monotonous sometimes though the stories in his animation are good.

Compared to other solo artists, Ferre has been the best and therefore i feel you're wrong here. If Ferre didn't give much time to promote his individual musicians then Maison Mere wouldn't have known about Chikito, Nicodem, Kirikou,Bercy, Arnake and even that female dancer Judith. Ferre even as a pure solo artists has given chance for his musicians to shine, some of the musicians he's put on the sidelines simply because of their indiscipline, some went knocking at Maison Mere and at Fally's band, they were not recruited but he welcomed them back.
The business model Ferre has works well for him but he has raised musicians who fit the WMM model...it works well for both parties.
What is Maison Mere's model,is it not just Ferre Gola has very good singers that Werrason wants since he depends on his singers to make the band shine as he cannot go it all alone like Ferre,Fally or JB.

No one care about JB, Fally, Ferre singing alone....l dont think it earns them extra fans. Its not even the definition of music. People dont care whether an artist can sing alone or not but all they want is good music. Its on the contrary what some fans complain about. We fans of WMM love it like that. Believe me Werra has been like that. You can imagine such a bad singer as some people put it ending up being so successful and keeping his fans happy way better than some so called singers....thats being good. WMM promotes artists, allows so many group albums. Always has so many new artists to present to fans. Artists flock their on their own...and the logic is simple...the guys who join are not dull they know what they are doing.

Ferre does more tours, Ferre does better music, Ferre pays well, Ferre exposes his musicians more, Ferre does better concerts....his musicians should be very insane to leave him and join a band where things are the exact opposite...poor music, no tours, no concerts, poor concerts, no pay, sinking....the list of bad things goes on.

Hahahahaha,those who sing well have made a name for that,the likes of Fally are now richer than Werra and JB because of their individual excellence and Ferre is following closely. Apart from Ferre himself who was the Chef d'orchestre and lead singer at Wenge Maison Mere in his time there, tell me which other former Maison Mere musician is doing well,they are all in oblivion, Bill Clinton is only lucky because he has several advertising contracts with brewers,confectioners etc
Yes, most musicians want to join Maison Mere and purely it's because they have a better chance their of being in the limelight as the boss there isn't really a good vocals man on his own and he shines as a result of the young singers around him,i am just saying the truth here no disrespect to Werra who is indeed an enterprising person and a strategic musician whose ingenuity should be commended. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Ferre had a combined Kakol and Watanabe role. Kakol is Chef and Wata is assistant lead singer. Ferre was Chef and assistant lead.

As for richness of musicians....its really difficult to tell. Dont be misled by the cars or rankings done by western blogs. Not everyone has the same spending parterns. These guys do a lot more things than music. Actually music now isnt giving them a lot of money due to paracy and lack of lucrative euro concerts. Fally makes his money mostly through his rich footballer friends. These guys are most surving through other businesses, beer contracts and rich friends...These are plain facts any person close to these guys would tell you. How many powerful concerts and albums did JB produce? Where did he invest the money? How many average albums and concerts has Ferre done....at a time things are hard in the industry? Do these publicity tours give him enough to have more than JB? Unfortunately it isnt like that anymore in congo.

Fally made it not because he can sing alone....people dont care if you can sing alone or not...all they want is good music and thats what he gave them. He further risked doing r and b type which people received so well. So his strategy worked. I remember very well some people here were busy castigating Fally for not doing proper congo jams and that he would be finished soon and were busy praising some monotonous odemba songs by other artists but that gave Fally the connections he has coz his music caters for none lingala speakers well. So his success has nothing to do with him being able to sing alone but its the music, strategy and connections. Amalia, Sergy Mabiala are good singers who can sing alone for two days non stop...if success is all about singing alone...where are they?

If success in music was a simple as getting talented musicians around you...every artist could have been hugely successful coz congo has talent in abundance.

Nkosi, your comments are all over the place,who are we talking about here? Ferre, Fally, JB or Werrason. It looks like you're now comparing Ferre to JB Mpiana. I mentioned the other names to show you that the others do not depend on youngsters or their musicians in order to perform, it's only Werra who depends on the young ones and his strategy has worked for him.
Ferre is successful and wealthy because he's got his own strategy too, no one can ascertain all these musicians true financial value or wealth but the estimates you find on forbes etc are as a result of the musicians earnings and assets they possess,Koffi and Fally are in the top 10 whilst JB,Werra,Ferre and others haven't even made it on the list, no one has argued or said it's not a true reflection but that aside,it's their own money and i don't care about it, my main concern is about the success of musicians who have left Wenge Maison Mere, so far it's only Ferre who has made it, the rest especially all those who went to Europe are now playing in small bars. Musicians who go to Maison Mere simply want exposure because at Maison Mere the focus is not on Werrason himself but the youngsters he gets, they do the work for him on stage, his job is only to pick some of the best from the streets and other bands,that is my contention.

Some of these artists we keep overhyping have only done two good rhumbas people can easily recognise across africa and other countries and no significant generique and absolutely no recognisable dance at all. Maybe these same rhumbas were produced while with other bands and redone later on. Go to any pub in remote zambia, ivory cost, tanzania, kenya, nigeria....play malewa, operation dragon, solola bien, alerte general....search for dances like even the unreleased muselu, lelele, malewa, koyimbiko...Play Kofi ayina, augustine, 13 ans, wabelo, likambo, judgement, blandine, fluer d amour, funny....Even JB who has been quiet has old and current tracks which are far more recognised....The only generique people may recognised is the new primus valium whose effect is way better than the tablets....Yes good singer with vast pitential but still needs some improvement.

...Sly this is what l dont agree. JB doesnt sing alone...he has the potential to do so but he understands the dynamics of music. He is a product of a band where many could sing. I have never heard anyone say JB depends on his musicians and he is successful because he picks good musicians. Yet when it comes to Werra people want to deflect the success to band members??

Maybe you're not getting what am saying. Basically what i always say is that most small boys who leave other bands want to join Wenge Maison Mere for only one reason which is to get fame as Werrason does not waste time to record or utilise talented musicians if they prove via auditions that they are good or when they are well known from another band and mainly it's because Werrason himself is not really a good singer but a good strategist and that explains his success,he knows how to combine talent unlike some of the many excellent singers out there.
It still remains a fact that Werrason in himself cannot dare take a risk by doing an acoustic concert for instance where he's the only singer on stage,it's high risk for him but others like Ferre,Wemba, Koffi, JB, Fally have done it. We still applaud Werrason for rubbing shoulders with the best out there, he's set himself up really well and beats some of the best singers.

A promoter once organized an acoustic concert for Suzanne Owiyo here in Jersey and the hall was surprisingly packed until the crowd realized they had 2plus hours of monotony; a DJ had to come to the rescue ;D
