The musicians need to gather up videos where they are being threatened by these imbeciles and show this to the French authorities. Just like how they did to lock up spokespeople.

No, its not musicians, its the Congolese government to do that. Which government on earth deals with citizens of another country without engaging with their government?

Emo you're right, they should ask the Congolese government for help. They already ask them for help on other issues, so they should for this.

unfortunately,the musician who is truly a member of the party of kabila does barely care (maybe because he cant go to edrope yet for his own problems,and feels the other musicians have not supported him enough)
there was an idea by shaka kongo of a protest march in kinshasa streets but due to conflicts between musicians themselves it did not happen

Then the musicians are not coordinating. Why dont they get a piece of paper and petition the government by countersigning signatures?

they already did that,as far as i know,fally,jb,werra, wazekwa,ya jossart and a couple of less popular guys signed but minister of culture never called them back

yes not at all,french president when he visited kinshasa promised he would do something about it,but he's got already too much stuff to care about unfortunately lol
i am convinced that if congolese government took it seriously it would be solved in my whole life in the 200+ countries we have in the world i have never seen it anywhere,and the guys have even decided that the african quarters of paris are forbidden to artists
wazekwa got threatened in paris two days ago for trying to go to his own company which is there

the combattants,the very same guys who werra had to negotiate with to be "just" allowed to come see their families and some friends,who were waiting at airports even with heavy snow to beat musicians
from 2010 to today or even slightly earlier ,only lacoste and i think meje30 went there and it was extremely discretly with one hell lot of negotiations

Wow those "people' are really messed up. Forbidding concerts is one thing but to block people from seeing their friends and family is way too far. Damn I wish some of those combattants worked at that one newspaper in Paris ::) ;D ;D

His Excellency, Mr. J. Kabila has the ball in the hand. But I know he has a lot on his mind to start dealing with musician issues. But these combattants are a threat to his Presidency by decampaigning him from diaspora. How i wish it was Kagame. That guy is rough on external threat.....he has spies all over. I am sure one of these guys in paris would have been found sleeping without a sound of snoring.
