whenever i talk avbout bcbg's "flaws" i always talk about the system,here again its a matter of system which involves jb
if you remember the first generation of bcbg post-titanic all the guys were known because at that time bcbg was more exposed and the guys who now have a bad influence on jb were not as powerful as today
another factor which affected bcbg's overall promotion is the long europe ban,because it turned all focus on jb,those who did not like him were adamant it was all over for him,while him wanted to prove that he was not going to sink,and i insist on he,because except group members of rival groups nobody mocked kibens or whoever of the group or predicted their end
take a dvd of bcbg before 2003/4/5 and then between 2005 and until soyons serieux(since from that period there are less and less dvds produced by artists in general) you'll notice a massive change of worship of the guys around to him and even focus on him
and i know some people will call it an excuse but thats te complete truth the man behind that situation is roger,i have nothing personal against him,but its him who controls those (more and more) rare videos of bcbg were unlike in the past 99,999999 per cent is focused on jb's presence on stage and singing classics and trust me,jb does not control at all what he goes to show on tv in variety shows or bcbg's own shows because he has blind faith on roger
also when jb wants to take some musicians on private europe trip with possibility of doing interviews there,roger makes sure he convinces jb that they'll leave,the only musician in bcbg allowed to do proper promotion is abraham and you wont imagine how he has to bow to roger to get that chance
do you know why mosaka was once suspended for two months? because he dare to confront his chief roger who refused to take abel de charme and i think atshuda with them for an interview( in fact he denied them access to the tv studio) because it would give him less time to do a huge list of mabanga and promote himself,and him and mosaka almost fought that day and had to be separated by late baja who took both by the scruff of the neck and forced them to sit down and when roger reported it,obviously lying a bit aswell jb punished mosaka straight away and today when fans give suggestions to mosaka on social network he tells them to give it to jb directly because he might lose his place if he speaks out his mind
or even in kin sometimes jb wants like he did in the past to do interviews where he presents guys one by one like he did with the fudji abraham generation but then again he is told "look at djino, if you give those guys too much space they'll stab you on the back like him" and the natural reflex of all our stars when told such stuff is to protect themselves by believing in it
then the album factor,i believe its more to do with his "philosophy" since his own album has taken 3 times more than group albums to be released and he could release 10 albums the same year if he wants, he has at disposal easily 150 unused songs from his internal writers alone(kibens,mosaka,zulema) let alone writers from outside
all in all,roger is a fault for his very bad influence on jb and jb is at fault for blindly trusting him but in his innerself and i know it for having talked about it to him several,jb would not mind at all a more starified bcbg around him on stage and he 'compensates" for his listening to bad influence by helping them a lot in their social lives
