wazekwa had a phone interview on tv where he had to stop within a minute because he was crying too much then more recently a longer interview where he said he is grateful to papa for life because he had actually given songs to papa for free but papa paid him an important amount of money and also papa was like a father to him at that time,when papa wanted to speak with his guys about some stuff which were and still are typical of the star system( women money and all those things...) he was telling wazekwa to move away a bit like a father who does not want to spoil his children with adult stuff
and he also said what stunned him with papa was that when in private he was very very humble,he'd listen to advice carefully then pick what he felt like important instead of just saying i am papa wemba so i do not need advice and sometimes papa wanted to please people around him too much,and if today he is a professional musician its all due to papa wemba who told him he was a good enough singer to consider singing his own songs and he did it with papa's benediction
