Yes I'm well aware. The reason why I make note of this is because this is a key situation where the wife is by her husband's side in mourning, especially for loss of his father.

His wife and children have developed a strong dislike of Cindy. Nowadays they will not be seen together at the same venue.

Without diverting too much from the thread topic:

The last time Koffi's wife and Cindy were seen together at the same event was at their son's birthday party a few years ago. A visibly infuriated Alya had to stand through I believe Cindy singing happy birthday and sat alone in the back at the mini-concert with Cindy doing most of the singing - singing Koffi's hits.

I remember long ago a journalist saying that most of these artists marry mixed-race women, who may not be entirely in tune with culture in order to have good looking off-spring and then they have side relations with Congolese women. It's not just Koffi, the difference is he promotes her being that she's the backbone of his current music.

A few months ago I read on one of the news site that his daughter, who has become a young celebrity/model, commented during a Q&A about her dad's new album that that's she's controlling and no one likes her.
