 it is fake,it was a strategy by his staff(carine and co) to create buzz,they noticed  two songs or so of his album are doing decent so they are encourageing him to go "controversial" at all costs to catch attention and act like " a true leader"(in the very strange congolese mentality you are not a true leader if you act too humble and normal),i have the sad feeling that what we have been seing as a bad transformation of him in the last months will be even worse by the end of the year
