My strong recommendation is that he return to Kin and shut down operations for some time (music, social media, and interviews). There's a possibility he won't recover from this fiasco and his temperaments could make his situation worse.

Abuse towards women is tolerated by no one. Moreover, his dancers are quite young and controlled.

yeah indeed,i fear that once back in DRC its (even more) of a nightmare for his dancers, but hopefully for once in his career he picks the intelligent part of the thing and makes effort instead of continuing to thrive on that image of victim and so on
it would be great for him to have his future years have as clean as possible an image like papa wemba did in his last years not too much controversy and a more "father-like" image

Yeah he's being held Jomo Kenyatta airport police station and i think this serves him right,he should Face the full wrath of the law despite his wealth and standing in the society he's such. A beast . Was watching his interview here on TV and it seems the dancer has been seemingly threatened or she's too naive to deny the assault incident but Kenyans on Twitter are quite an aggressive lot....seems they had their way-justice.

She knows that there will be long-term repercussions in Congo where Koffi is a 'medaled' honorary citizen. Quite sad.

The short innocence video he did with the dancer the is one the most uncomfortable things I've watched in a while.

Good that is what he deserves, this has me thinking if he did that in public then what does he do in private. What if France asks for him to be extradited to them that would be something.

Glad to see an African justice system acting promptly and accordingly.

What if France asks for him to be extradited to them that would be something.

I don't think French prosecutors care much about the case from 2009 anymore - their main focus in light of recent events is on terrorism. He could've have easily resolved the issue a few years ago, but he got cold feet at De Gaulle airport fearing being taken into custody even for a minute and returned. The irony is this time he's been taken into custody in the most public way possible by an InterPol nation.

- The accusations were the first thing I thought of when I saw the headline earlier. You'd think he eliminate young dancers by now; so many questionable incidents, this time he got caught red-handed.
