I was listening to some oldies , and bumped into this sang  and came to realize that, it seemed like koffi knew that JB  and werra would be future leaders, because when you listen to the last 2 minutes of the song he starts singing names  of leader back then , jb ans werra were still not that popular(stars). or was just a coincidence .
he then confirmed it again in wake up.  how strange??? 

No coincidence, JB and Werra were artistes confirmés by 1991; garnering big attention in 1988 with hits Mulolo and Nicky D, then JB winning chanteur de l'année with Kin é bougé. Werra's Kaskin was also acclaimed.

 At that point, JB and Werra became regular fixtures in interviews, which them appear as young leaders. Kin é bougé's success was a game changer in terms of acoustic quality and sebene.

Koffi was in attendance at guitarist Blaise Kombo's funeral in 1990, where he recruited young singers and instrumentalists who would become Quartier Latin members soon after.
