I had to replay that Do Akongo rhythm like 18 times (ngobila I think), man Marchouse is so talented it's a shame his involved in feuds whereas when he actually plays his guitar his actually one of the best. Who played that exact rhythm from that video (ngobila) I think and yes koffi played many songs but shared with rigo stars in the 80s, from the 90s like noblesse oblige (do akongo, popolipo and others played it was shared). by the way koffi is also another talented guitarist concerning his style tchatcho not so really with lead guitar sadly  but I watched a video from lofombo his claiming he took that style from something called Arobe.

Yes Koffi used to be in past a big rhythm player and bass guitarist.
Ngobila was played by Koffi on the rhythm and Rigo Star on the lead guitar.
Koffi Olomide played in the Noblesse Oblige album rhythm on Papa Plus, Miss des Miss & Noblesse Oblige. Some lead partisions played by Rigo Star in his early carreer where created by himself (expl. Kiki Ewing).

Didace le Prof & Felly Tyson used to play the rhythm guitar on Magie and on V12 & Noblesse Oblige it was shared between Popolipo, Lebou, Felly & Koffi himself.


Do Akongo didn't play rhythm because he was always left behind Kinshasa, if they came to Europe to record Kofi's solo albums. He was lucky that Pas de Faux Pas was recorded in Brazzaville. For Magie i don't know, because 80% also recorded in Brazza.

I think that Koffi was leaving Do Akongo behind, because he thought that he would staying in Europe. Because he was from the 1st QL-Generation (Yoto Delta Force, Fofo Le Collegien, Toussaint, Vieux Veron, Djunafa, Mascot de Katalas, etc.), who where threaten Koffi to leave Quartier Latin due to getting a to low salary.
