I think that what Bill really misses is a guitarist who acts like a leader, like Kapaya did when he went solo and used Bill and Celeo for his album, the strange thing is that Werra and him shared the same soloist (Kimbangu) and when Kimbangu was with Bill even though the talent was there never had the success that he reached with Werra after only one album, I think that Bill needs an atalaku of his level like Brigade, or Celeo so he can understand that being a legend is not synonimois of success. What do you think? What is the thing that Bill needs to change to be back on his old glory?

There are excellent and intelligent workers in an organisation who are managed by average people. Same with music. Bill lacks the art/music coordinator attribute. He thinks doing rap on a song is all it takes. Werrason has undergone a lot of training from the time he began music from playing a guitar to doing rap (atalaku) to singing then to being a coordinator.

If only these young stars had mind set of why werra replaces them with other and use the chemistry of arrangement their elders do.. JB, WERRA, OLD KOFFI, WAZEKWA, LATE WEMBA, EXTRA.. They would been very far.

Bill has had good generiques since Les Marquis but for some reason has never had the top generique which is weird for someone who is widely considered the best (falsetto at least) animator of all time.

Generally, fans of this music don't like a one centered band. We love to see singers sing from chorus to sebene....not the bill structure of music..

I think everyone here is right about Bill. I don't think he's hungry enough to produce something that will stick for a long time. I can't remember which of his album but he had a song called Sidonde (i think) and that song was one of the best sounding sebenes at the time. the guys singing added flavor to bill's caliber. He came in to do the animation later. Simply put, he needs to diversify some and let the band be a part of the process.

In music just like in business you must understand your strengths as well as your weaknesses if you want to succeed. Bill is probably the best atalaku of his generation. But there's more to music than just being a good atalaku. He should have surrounded himself with good people to cover his shortcomings. Good vocalists, musicians, managers etc etc and also be willing to allow other members of his group to shine.

That's why Werrason is doing well. He doesn't hoard all the limelight and glory for himself. He allows his people to become stars and in return the whole group thrives. Probably same reason why Fally and Ferre are also having good solo careers.

I have a good feeling about Robinho. I wouldn't write him off just yet. I like his strategy. He has maintained visibility and has stayed relevant and has avoided the "one hit wonder" tag. Soon enough people will be asking for more from him. His generique Tsha Nanu Boye is becoming a hit in Nairobi rhumba clubs

 yeah his contract was  increased by three times  he is the third earner in drc beer sponsorship behind jb and werra

Well for the Skol contract, I think that Skol should have took the contract aeay from Bill for Split the money and give Fabregas, Robinio, Deplick, Héritier, Abraham, Abel comtracts so they could contrasto the ultra power of Primis whom is very popular in Congo. About Bill I think that the comment about good balance, it is absolutely right, the problem is that in Congolese world of music, you have a lot of Yesman ready to do whatever a solo artist tell them, and the solo artist don't like criticism about their managing of business, and if you criticize them you are fine working like the Ibrator case with Fabregas. Bill is slowly dying as an atalaku and if Brigade will make another powerful generique like Edende, Tshouna Baby or Affaire Ya Rando Bill is over.

skol could have had some of those guys but bill blocks it,imagine that even koffi did not renew because their priority was increasing bill
