faux concert moko dit, the worst Zenith-concert ever made... Zenith 2010 is far better than this one. Werrason came hours to late and people where also saying that it was maybe better that Congolese bands would tours less in Europe and/or doing tours shorter than 3 months, at that time their albums where also getting less succes. In this era people were thinking that Werra succes came to a end, despite that the Zenith '08 was sold out, since Temps Present flopped very hard (except the song of Deplick which saved the album) and that Fally & Ferre would take over.

Beside of that there was a war going on in the Congo against Rwanda when Werra performed at Zenith and many people where angry that Werra didn't cancel the Zenith-show. I remember that combatants tried to mess the concert up, but it didn't work out (they tried it also in 2006 with Werra's shows getting cancelled in Paris and Brussels and they started like in London a concert-ban, but allowed Werra then to perform at Elysee Montmarte and lift the concert-ban for Congolese bands after negotiations)

I the same era there started a conflict between Maison Mere and Congolese journalists like Laura Tendence, Francis Kakonde, Baby Balukuna, etc. after criticize Maison Mere's concert at Zenith and talking about touring less in Europe with Sankara attacking them very nasty. But the journalists were strangely enough afraid to boycott Werrason for moment.

If Werrason preferd to play again at Zenith in 2010 instead of doing double-Olympia, then it was because the failure of this concert. I remember that Brigade, Heritier, Taddet, etc. all said in interviews before and after the concert, that Zenith 2010 was made to correct the things who went wrong in 2008.

I was in attendance and he was over 2 hours late, which made the standing audience upset. Of course it isn't shown in the DVD - some threatened loquaciously to leave before Werrason finally  came to the podium. He was taking his sweet time in the backstage room having a big meal provided by one of the famous madam na poto with his fidels.

Werra's music became very diluted in 2007-08 - I especially wasn't big on the sebenes. I went because it was a big événement and my friend kept telling me that big concerts would likely come to an end, alluding to the rise of combatants, who were out front, but still negligible.

If i say what i know- people will say i am defending Werra..

Yes! Been waiting for this for a while now. I always thought this concert was underrated, but I never knew about all of those things you guys just stated. I still feel like his music was still good at that time. If you compare him to where koffi was at that time, he was miles above him lol.
