 he tried to see koffi twice since the years he has not been receiving any text messages for concerts,first time koffi told him okay if you want to return go on tv and announce you are back in quartier latin and so on but he explained to koffi that he needed money to pay to tv's to be allowed to have some time since he had not received any money in music and also to pay taxis since he does not have a car anymore  but koffi did not give him that money and told him to come where quartier latin used to rehearse and where koffi saw him  he was moving around and he tried to follow koffi to talk to him but koffi told him to sit and wait for him
he had no money on him and did not eat that day but waited for koffi for 8 hours and koffi left that place through another door  and he tried to call koffi like 20 times but koffi did not pick up so he went back home but was disappointed because he did not know what he did to koffi to be treated like that
he says he is working on  4 songs he will release since he needs to feed his family after all he says things went so bad in those years that he could not even pay school fee anymore to his older daughter who is at university level studying journalism

Maybe Koffi is angry about way Bennie, Marcation, Laura and the other one escaped from the house where Nseka was controlling them. Which led 3 years later to the problem what we all knows.

It's sad the percussionists of many groups are often poor despite the heavy workload they have. They aren't visible like other group members, so it's also hard to build relationships with donors

We (and musicians) tend to not realize how risky of a proposition being in a band is. They have to ask themselves "can I really rely on one man to provide for my entire livelihood? And "what happens if I fall out with him(or her) or the leader dies unexpectedly"?

In reality, every position is easily replaceable no matter how long a musician has been been involved, as shown here.

Further it is a hard call for the band leader to  provide to ALL the band members and their families. As said earlier in this forum  a salary system should be advocated. This will lead to smaller bands and lose of employment for fringe members.  If you check clearly also personal financial management is lacking. Some members live fast and furious  and burn out with nothing for the twilight years. Re-invention is also key what to do after leaving, some teach guitar/dance lesson for example  and get by decently.

The flip side is they're paid well compared to most groups, which is why partly why some stayed for so many years.
