(It's crazy to see how much influence Quartier Latin had in Congo Brazzavile & the rest of Africa, while in DRC they were far behind of BCBG, Maison Mere, Nouvelle Ecriture and in the begining even behind Zaiko). I mean with the Influence and succes in Kinshasa. Quartier Latin had succes, but it was not so big like that of Maison Mere, BCBG or Nouvelle Ecriture. While abroad it was a different story. In the begining people saw Quartier Latin as a band of female dancers, since that a lot of bands didn't care about female dancers at time, at the same time people claimed that they were starting  copying Wenge 4x4 and around 2002 people started to say that they were Maison Mere-copycats.
