Someone said to me that this song was about JB & Amida's broke up and that it was meant to be recorded with JB Mpiana as only lead singer of song and himself credited as songwriter instead of Bogus. But that he later changed his mind and sung the song in a duo with Bogus with him credited as songwriter. With reason that he was afraid to be mocked by his rivals for the song.

The song was succes and was voted as second best song of the year of behind Karmapa's "Amanda La Duchesse" and Bogus being voted as second best singer of the year behind JB Mpiana.

very possible,songs like nungu nungu or guy mbuala also have  a very strong vibe of that just like some vocals of jb on other songs or some proverbs
i remember sankara mocking the way  he sang in guy mbuala and saying ironically amida is evil because the "'big man" now has to be on a drip(perfusion) everyday
