The second team is good, lol they praised Kakol like he is the leader. Bebe Djong is wasting career away in the second team, wonder what happened with Deplick.

Did someone grab part of Fikin or what is happening with the popularity of this music in Congo? Or is it that Primus used to give people free beer to attend Fikin concerts? Am worried with the waning popularity of Fikin support from last year. This is the same spot where Werra and JB would be received like kings. Look at Wazekwa's and Koffi's Fikin for this year!!! The trend is worrying. Or has Fikin been turned into VIP venue, I can only see few seated people throwing their hands in the air.

plus like i said in some past posts,congolese music is suffering big time from the social issues of DRC  a lot of families who used to attend concerts are more concerned these days whether they'll eat even once in the day than to party so it aint easy
technically fikin like it used to be is dead if not for musicians insisting to maintain the tradition a little bit,wazekwa's concert for example is self production with some help of vodacom while in the glorious days of skol primus musicians just came smashed it and went home

Yeah that year has been quite tense on political social level,except maybe three groups most of the groups have seen their number of concerts drop a lot,and it has even caused the drop of price in VIP concerts,not too long ago it was not even thinkable to watch a spot saying "VIP concert  15 dollars seats,20 dollars seats" and 50 as the maximum while in the past some shows had 50 as the absolute minimum and up to 200 300 or even  600 once or twice

Once they started putting out lawn chairs and tables at Fikin it was obvious something is wrong. Just a few years ago, people would be packed in there like sardines

Yeah, I was there for vacation back when Koffi had his 2008 VIP  St Valentines concert at GHK and some friends/family and I paid $100 each for tickets. Never again will I do that for any concert there

Once you pay that much for a concert in Kinshasa (more that big Europe halls) expectations get very high. Unfortunately, this was when QL was a hot mess. His new singers were mostly trash and this lady who we never knew of (Cindy) kept singing Koffi's hits. Even GHK's food wasn't that great

The fact that Werrason has continued to beat JB is clear on this nice live piece  - Zenga Luketu. Fresh blood is very important indeed.

To me this looks the most depleted Maison Mere line up in years. I can only recognise Miel de Son. This can be  attributed to poor man management of Werrason. The recent studio album aside, this is poor concert in terms of choreography by standards. As much as you need new talent you also need experience

The second team like we say in Italy fa cagare, fa davvero cagare, and for Bebè Djong he ia way worse than his last FIKIN where he was live tested and yeah he should join Robinio, Heritier, or some other group who puts him between starter he is good but of course not singing in big stages reguralry effects your voice the only thing good are the instrumentalist and the drummer way better than Kakol, and even the drummer who did the Kaskin song glad to see Liboka having some space on live
the only good thing about the second team is the atalaku woth the rasta and the Brazza's hat and the drummer and again about Bebe Djong how much weed he smoke you can see he is lile Kabuya tries to danxe but can't because he is like drunk/high Ambulance is the only atalaku in WENGE capable to ride that number one spot Liboka needs to understand to stop acting foolish and sing properly like he does in studio, when he properly sings he almost goes into the first voix department even though is a very rough second voice type of atalaku...
Diego, I don't know what's wrong with that guy I  was glad to see him live in a big evemt after years of not seeing him in huge evemts amd then he can't hit a mote right... the old Werra would have kicked him out but I don't know what is wrong with Werra and for the singers of the first team...

Atleast you and I are on the same page. By standards this first team's vocals are pathetic. Live concerts is what MM was known for. Check out the old videos on Sebene Total's page and you will see what I mean. Watch the live concert in south Africa
