Even though a lot of people gave Kirikou for over now he is the atalaku who did great in his first chance with Koffi, why? Why Werra, and Ferrè  didn't give Kirikou the chance to shine, by relegating him to a minor spot after success (Ferrè) and by making him sing some minor ad (Werra).
Koffi when everybody thought he couldn't do anythig after selfie, came in with Nyataquance in one of the best atalaku leader I have ever heard your thoughts

my take on this is that eras have changed thanks to success of coupe decale and co people are less interested on voice of the atalaku and pace of the sebene but rather how catchy some parts can be(you'll see for example that if the bill generique becomes succesful the last part will be by very far the most popular because of how repetitive and catchy it is plus that dance becoming very popular in kin)
while ferre and werra prefer agressive atalakus who can me some very direct sebene
that slow style suits kirikou but i believe at some point he can become great on other styles as well he is still  pretty young

KIRIKOU IS A VERY TALENTED CRIE INVENTOR BUT NOT A GREAT ATALAKU BECAUSE HIS VOICE IS NOT POWERFUL ENOUGH. NYAKATANCE IF YOU PAY GOOD ATTENTION YOU WILL NOTICE THEY HAD TO INCREASE THE VOLUME SO HE CAN BE HEARD. THE ONLY REASON WHY HE HAS THIS HIT BECAUSE OF POLEMIQUE DANCE YA BA BOSS AND FERRE EVEN THOUGH I AM HIS FAN HE LET ME DOWN BECAUSE HE SHOULD HAVE KEPT THE SAME CHOREOGRAPHY OF DANCE YA BA BOSS (VIDEO BELOW RUTH NZELE AND ILUNGA DANCING IT BEFORE KIRIKOU JOINED KOFFI VIDEO FROM 23:45)
AND THAT WOULD HAVE MADE IT MORE INTERESTING WITH BERCY ON THE OTHER SIDE BUT HE CHOSE THE MORE QUICK DANCE WHICH MADE IT HARD TO DANCE TO.
I WOULD JUDGE WHEN THERE IS NO POLEMIC WITH ANOTHER BAND FOR A DANCE CRIE BUT WELL DONE TO HIM

Kirikou has good animations but voice wise he isn't cutting it, hopefully one day it will get better.
