As the title says is there like a band full of females from singers to atalaku to instruments no men involved if there is men they can be dancers lol it would be nice if there is

 yes there used to be taz bolingo and recently another one i am forgetting the name but it does not go far as producers want sex before producing them and as usual in a lot you always have some who would not mind, and then those who say no to be more vocal and mess it up

it seems the assholes asking for sex in exchange for production are the ones messing it up.

exactly i am also against that,one my young cousins wanted to sing some pop rnb and she quickly abandoned as all of them producers she meet were asking for sex even before discussing a contract

sad. as a female artist in the states i've run into people wanting to sexualize my image in order to work with me but never blatantly being asked for sex. the main reason is since i've begun i've had family members make beats for me (my cousins and now my brother) otherwise i'm sure i would have ran into similar by now. its a damn shame. if i had the means i would start a female congolese band. its desperately needed.

since we're here special shout out to bozi boziana for working with the most women in congolese music history. its appreciated. altho i don't know what kind of relationships he had with these women lol sex may have been involved i don't know but it seems he has made it a life goal to make sure women get shine in this industry.

I love the instrumentalists who have attitude just like the male counterparts, drummer.... Bossy soloist....mavericks  bassists..... Cool etc

The most successful all-women African band was/is Les Amazones of Guinée. They've been around for over 30 years, and are exactly as their name suggests- Amazones. Intimidating and very talented



A female band has to be intimidating in Africa, especially DRC to be respected

Yondo lives in Switzerland and has been working on an album of some sort with renown session artists. It's hard not to deny that she lost her fame though.



I saw her a few years ago and, appearance-wise, it's also hard to deny that she has a ghost-like complexion now. Just like Defao. Unfortunate
