While we are always talking about mainstream artists I have come to like Reddy Amisi. What is his story? I heard he was in Viva or Zaiko. Who are members of his band especially instrumentalists?
Am working on something of his that I have come to like and will share with you guys.

All I know is that his other nickname name is Bayilo Canto,he's aged 43 and his band is La Casa Do Canto. He was previously with Papa Wemba and was actually one of Wemba's top and preferred solo vocalists in the band and he's one of Congo's best singers though quite arrogant.
He went solo a long time ago and released quite a number of albums some featuring Papa Wemba himself and Koffi.Reddy was once Mimiche Bass' employer.

Reddy was absent from the musical scene for a little while but came back with a top class album Likelemba with the help of his band members he originally started with and some new ones including the solo guitarist you've mentioned whose name is Bibi Solo,i think he's left together with most of the band members who recently left La Casa Do Canto.

reddy is 53
bibi solo is still in the group, actually some of those who left returned, the rest went  to create their group la nova international musica with singer doudou amiral and bassist fwala bass as leaders
he parted company with papa wemba in 2001,like sly mentions he is the former boss of mimiche bass but of freddy makola" markhouse" who is now with ferre, and who won when with him best rhythm guitarist of congo award in 2003,aswell as blaise who is lacoste's atalaku
he won several composer of the year awards and also is the third biggest winner of singer of the year award alive (3times)behind papa wemba and jb mpiana who won it 6 times

i dont know if  its actually pure arrogance i would say's it viva's spirit(a mix of gangsta and intellictual attitude)
when you look at kester its a bit of the same, that's why when he is interviewed especially by naty lokole and has that attitude naty says  viva viva viva lol
the boss of viva himself is a lot calmer and humble
