I think Kaniaka has way more meaning than a diss to Fabregas, for the non lingala speakers talks about betrayal and of all the people that you have helped but didn't gave anything in exchange.
But if you take a clorlser look you can feel that this is almost a song about Congolese society and African society never grows up, in every group, even in the Fally's one which I taught was very well organised, democratic and heartfelt there are some very big jealousies.
There are some phrases that remained stucked to me like "Chinese people are taking over the world, Even animals can group togheter for something, but us people (meant like Congolese) are driven by Kindoki (witchcrafts) and jealousy.
And I think he is right, I mean if African society doesn't change things will get worse and the music it is a reflection of the society.
There is not even a single group between the one who are on the verve where the Chef D'Orchestre is not a hated man/or woman check MM with Kakol being credited for most of the departures Cindy who basically doesn't give space to anyone or the famous guy of BCBG who made fallout Chai (Almost like a son to JB) and JB or made Metrau a simple kid who were only singing loose an eye.
Aren't leaders, chefs and people tired of this situation?
I finish saying that Kaniaka and all the Fabregas Ibrator thing is a perfect picture of Congolese society unfortunately at his worst

Perhaps that's what the world will be like in the next 30 years as then 3 out of 5 people on earth will be African. True selfishness.

It is sad, because music could gave the spark a very poor country like Congo need to take back our resources and our dignity, but people behind leaders don't have that vision only think they care about is their money and control and power...
