The album was recorded in 2007 during the Europe-tour with help from French football-player Nicolas Anelka. Werrason invited the French rappers Youssoupha and Pit Bacardi. Sony BMG was supposed to release the album Simply the best of vol. 1 "Sans Poto". Werrason wanted to start his "worldmusic" career with this album. Problems in thale band with Heritier, Celeo & Flamme Kapaya and unhappy musicians led to the delay of the album. The album was released in the summer of 2009, one month before Techno Malewa vol. 1. It flopped very hard. Most song would be re-recorded and used for the Sans Poto album of 2016. I remember that JB Mpiana was attacking Werrason in 2009 Or 2008 that he could never do a Simply the Best album, because that shows that you are finished.

exactly werra had that "plan b" for ages  although not in the folklore format that one day  when he sees musicians are messing with him too much he'll start a much more self centered solo career it all started from les marquis and the remaining members  days

Yes, Flamme stayed in Europe for the mixing of Temps Present and had to rejoin Maison Mere in Kinshasa after a month. But then refused to return, because Werrason didn't pay him and still didn't give him the house e promised him in 2004, so he decided to leave the band. Werrason and his staff wanted to have Celeo out the band. So during the tour alot of things happened, Werrason sended Linda, Gisele and Anya to insult him during a concert in Sweden. Then there was a fight between him and Sankara de Nkuta, after they heard that Celeo wasn't happy that Werrason was recording that worldmusic-album. So they made a meeting somewhere in Paris, where they decided to fire Celeo on a nasty way. When Maison Mere returned to Kinshasa, they went away with Celeo's passeport. And it created the polemic, which we all know for 1 year long. Celeo thougt when he returned to Kinshasa that someone would of Maison Mere would to him from the Airport and convince him to talk with Werrason and make peace, but didn't happen. So he decided to leave Maison Mere. Celeo started to make various interviews and crying on tv and saying that he want his passeport back. Kakol and Heritier started dissing Celeo on tv and claiming that he left because he feared Brigade. With Kakol going even to far by attacking Celeo with kuluna's after an interview. Koffi tried to get him in Quartier Latin, but he refused, since that many Clan-Wenge see joining QL as a humilation. With help and many encouragements of the journalists Mamie Ilela and Yves Abdallah. Celeo decided to start his solo career and record his solo-album Nzoto na Nzoto.

If the musicans didn't like how 7 Jours or a more self-centered Werra then they are free to leave like some of them did because it's Werra's band not theirs. Archie, what do you mean "if the musicians start messing with him" is it departures because if so Werra himself knows people evantually leave and do their own thing and if they succeed then it will also shine good for Werra.

No, he didn't get it back so he made another one. Celeo wanted to mix in album in Europe and signing in contracts there, but he got his visa denied. So he gave all the responsibilities of album to Kiki Toure (he discovered this year that Kiki was getting all his royalties on his back). When Nzoto na Nzoto became number one on the charts, he was getting contracts for Europe. Celeo tried again to get a visa again, for promoting his album in Europe (doing playbacks and visiting his staff). But got his visa denied again. It was even difficult for him to go to Brazzaville, where they tried to invite him several times. Kabose had the same problems. It was said that people from Maison Mere told some bad things to the embassies for them, in order to kill their careers. Celeo started to sell all his cars and cloths and became at a moment broke. His donors didn't want to talk to him again. Didi Kinuani for example who was like his father didn't want to talk him, when he heard from someone of Maison Mere that Celeo wanted to gave Anya Star (his girlfriend then) to his friend Fally Ipupa, which made him angry. People of his staff left him and joined other artist. Heritier, Kakol and Sankara started to mock him in interviews. Heritier went even many times with his car to Celeo house and pissing him off by stopping in front of his house and throw money to people. Celeo started then to become close to Koffi Olomide, in order to piss Werrason off and started to record his album Yes We Can (first called "Operation Kanga Moyibi") despite all those difficulties. Like Kabose in 2010 he finally managed to go back in Europe with help of Mpova Music. People tried to convince him to stay in Europe a get a papers, but refused and went back to Kinshasa. Then he went in 2011 back for the mixing of his album and people tried again to convice to get papers, but he refused again. After the release of Yes We Can, he started to get problems with Mpova Music, like his friend Kabose (who profited to get Europe papers, during his 6 month stay in Europe). After 4 years he reconciled with Mpova and returned in Europe in 2016.

It seems Werra has had real had career!!! Every season he has to remind his musicians that he is the owner of the band and that he can sing all alone in an album.

I have never heard such challenges with his compatriot Wazekwa, Maybe its because Wazekwa honors his promises to his musicians and pays well.
