The first album release since King Kester’s passing. Wow, it’s like King Kester himself oversaw the album. So good.

It’s the first time since Franco’s passing that I’ve seen a band so faithful to keeping their boss’ heritage alive. They’re all wearing a jean jacket on the cover; aka King Kester’s favorite article of clothing

nice effort,it seems they dropped some members from the earlier generique they released, i see the chef mamale atalaku toiture and soloist djo mampia (those in the middle in bigger size on the poster ) but i dont see moussakeba and mopala

Just listened to it last night. Very nice songs. 2 rumbas, generique and sebene song. This definitely should have been longer.

What happened to the other project they were supposed to come out with?

Yea, i was very surprised Mopala was nowhere to be seen. He was the face of the band with his tragic French

Just listened to it last night. Very nice songs. 2 rumbas, generique and sebene song. This definitely should have been longer.

What happened to the other project they were supposed to come out with?

Basically brother Joly Mubiala is holding “This is Me” hostage, so it will probably never come out. Victoria has moved on

Was Louis Onema na Studio M'eko one of the producers? Heard his name shouted out; great to see he's still in the business
