Ferre is the only artist in Congo who seems to be getting worse when it comes to generique...I’m going to say it again, his instrumentalist are shit....you have young artist like Deplick, Robinio and Fabro producing good sound but then you hear Ferre’s one dimensional generique and you wonder who’s the newcomer

If Ferre had a solid "defense" has they say, he will take over the number one spot.

I feel like Ferre is arrogant or naive : he thinks that his voice is enough and he doesn't have to make an effort when it comes instrumentals.

I partially blame Werra for this : when it comes to seben, the first team Ferre had with the likes of Nwazu, Sabena, Thierry solo was the best. If Werra did not take them from Ferre, Ferre's group would have been fire.

i believe ferre's instrumentalists are good but maybe not well used enough for example hadji solo
 today i was listening to our artists and i noticed even some guys who are yet to have an album like robinio already have a style and stick to it
and thats the case with most artists if we talk in terms of generiques especially
i was even doing some mabanga like ferre to joke (the chichiwash guy, the ingwebeni de l afrique or however its spelt lol,ya dada ngwabana and co )

thinking about it,anyone else noticed that the monotonous or whatever people say a lot about ferre's recent generiques coincides with charly solo having never played any since or once in a few? the boite noire generique by him was a hit and much better received than  all the generiques combined from derangement to this one

What happened to the days of sens interdit??? My god that was powerful but I agree he went down a poor path each time he does a generique
